| since I've joined my team we've got 6 new players in 3 months. These guys just jumped from back yard to MilSoft since I've joined they still tend to have airsoft look but have made a large leap to the game. many only had wally land guns and casualle wear they moved up to mpeg and got uniforms.
I am woundering if anybody else has seen a large increase. This is state wide to. The average event in 09 only had 35 members. 2010 has had an average of 50 members. Anybody else seen this in your state?

| I haven't seen it in events, but I've noticed that Walmart has started caring, "better" guns. Not necessarily good guns but better. And the local sports store has started selling some higher-end AEG's. | |

| Yes, a new store actually opened up about 10 minutes away from my house. Their site is http://www.ontargetairsoft.com/ , but anyway, in my area we've noticed a staggering increase in fields and players. Two new fields just opened up in the past six months. And on top of that, GA is just getting big in terms of airsoft. | |

| So it's not just Wyoming. By the end of this year I am expecting the team grows to about 18 to 20 members we have 15 right now and leaders are doing rank increases expecting to have more members under them. Thing is we have 15 members but only 11 are active atempting to hit every event and team training exersise.
This make cats the largest AS team in the state so we are literally throw the event to one team over the other. Because we're an organized uniform team.

| Eh... People start and quit all the time. Yes, I'd like for this to be true, but I don't know. | |

| Well I understand that people quit, but it seems more people are moving up then they are quitting. | |

| I think the biggest reason for the larger turnout at events is the use of social media. The majority of information I get on airsoft nowadays comes from Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, and other forms of cyber communication.
On the same note, there are definitely more people getting into the hobby. Whether that's a good thing or not is up to your interpretation.

| Check out The Killhouse... They're in Orem, I don't know where that is in relation to you...
At least you have Weapon Blender Airsoft in your state!

| Its been growing in Ohio ever sense I joined up. ATM we have 407 PAID and registered for one of the local MILSIM events here in Ohio. Last year we had 370 show up to the event. Not a huge jump however I have noticed that were selling more guns. Most of the people who buy guns don't realize there's a organized entity in Ohio. So I do see Ohio airsoft growing allot now. The local paintball place, which is the largest in the surrounding 5 states has made its own airsoft division/store to compete with all the paintballers moving over to airsoft.
So yes I do see a larger growth than I have ever seen in Ohio at least.
