| Yay for the library, although it will be somewhat of a hassle to handle at the start, im sure we can pull it off. We need to get more notarization out on this topic so many people reply to it!
Make this topic hot! | |

| Hmm....holding my vote for a bit. I'm just not sure why this is neccesary on an AS Forum. I mean we have PMing....and the threads are swaying way off topic as it is these days. I don't know. | |

| Well hey, this is getting better and better, for m14 and all the doubters, this is my original post in the topic just so you can see what I mean by a "Library" The thing is about that part of the forum is that it IS a "Share Your Knowledge - Advice and FAQ" type of place. It is no library, if anything, we could make a NEW section of the forum named specifically library where people make entrances of little info packet books with a title (maybe a little cover) and have it only so that one person can post in that topic and that is the creator. So the topics don't go off into some other discussion or anything. (If you wanted to comment about the book the person made just send them a PM telling them about it) They creator could update the book however often they liked or create a completely new one. It would take about an hours worth of work to file everything in once they start being created but It could go like this, I'll use 501 Ranger's S.N.I.P.E.R post he made for an example... It would go under it like this The Library -Airsoft Snipers --Tactics - His would go under this part. --Guns --Other things and so on The "Book" would look like this. Key Elements of Airsoft Sniper What's in the mind of an ambush player “SNIPER” You would think that a sniper would be considered an offensive weapon…But A sniper is more of a defensive weapon if you think about it …. Try this out… S: is for…. Scout for the Team…. N: is for… Never be seen by the enemy…. I: is for… Info to the Team Leader is Key… P: is for… Patience is a total commitment … E: is for… Effectiveness is a must… R: is for… Radio all findings and report… “I know what you are thinking Hollywood makes snipers out to be cool and full of glamour.... movies{Shooter}..{Enemy at the Gate} book..{White Star-James Thayer} LoL !!!!! Most of the time you are in the mud and swampy water and rotten dead trees and Wait-a-mintue vines where all the snakes are crawling; you are hiding and reporting to your team leader…all the good stuff the enemy is doing; BUT ! “ It can go offensive in a spilt second… Here is how you prepare for that moment….. Basic Rules: 1. Know yourself - What can you do? 2. Know your enemy - What can they do? 3. Know your surroundings - Where are you? 4. and the most important one… “Know your escape plan” – Don’t run into something you can’t fight your way out of. This is a key to staying in the game longer… Strategy: Depends on the game. Analyze your enemy, analyze the game, and watch for any weakness. Then use those weaknesses to your advantage. Be sneaky… If you can capture the moment like taking out the point-man and the heavy gun in the squad and do the old bump and run tactic, but remember get back under cover and into stealth mode.... Now !!! that was being an offensive weapon… back to a defensive weapon…. You will in some games do this a lot of times… more than you can count and then in some games maybe Never !!!….. “Remember your primary goal is communication with your team” after your team comes in with the Heavy Guns and starts laying to waste any thing that moves. You just come right in and play surgeon. You strategically pick your High Value targets like the enemies Team Leader or their Medic or maybe another Sniper!!! ...But remember some sniper motto is…… “The snake that you did not see is the one that will bite you….” You can learn a lot about Airsoft from nature…..Till next time…. I’ll see you at the end of my barrel…Sarge of 501 RANGERS __________________________________________________________________________ END BOOK And that would be that, but it would be strictly to books and things like that only no *non compacted* things like misc information, it needs to be a solid "book" | |

| I don't know if any of you noticed...but we have a "Share Your Knowledge" section. That is, in essence, a "ibrary" of information donated by our community members. Creating another section is pointless. | |

| yeah, it would have been a bit too much work and besides I wouldnt have wanted to make all those covers. Anyway, Im leaving for college in less than a month and wouldnt be able to help with it at all. Unless someone really wants to keep this thing going, i can't really take much part in it | |
