| I bought my friends old aftermAth socom 16 off of him a few months ago, it was over all a good gun intell the gearbox jammed. We brought it to my local store to fits it and as soon as I showed it to the guy he said he couldn't fix it because that it was an afte math so me and my friend brought it home and tried to fix it our selfs and just made it worse. It was a gun and other places might fix it but it's up to you. | |

| Well I can tell you if it's an M4 you most likely won't be sniping with it. @ JARHEAD, what information are you basing that on? I am the one who sold him the SOC 16 by aftermath, and felt terrible that it broke so soon after I gave it to him. It worked so fine with me and actually performed well. ROF was better than expected, velocity was above average, and the steel parts on the gun were extremely sturdy and the ABS stock was top notch. But let's not get into a gun review here; I would definately say they're no high-end company. I would EASILY choose KWA, CA, a TM, or an Echo 1 any day over an Aftermath. But I wouldn't neccesarily say they're a bad company. They got the job done and got it done well. They were just another knock-off re-brand company, but one that was actually doing something right. | |

| You deffinately could get a better gun for the money, I agree, but that doesn't mean they're a bad company. Is CA army a bad company because for the same price of a few of their AR's I can get a KWA M4A1 which performes better stock? | |

| Hey, I wasn't going for that at all! I was simply tring to prove an opinion, doesn't mean I'm right, either. Every man is entitled to their own opinions. I'm sure Aftermath has released their fair share of bad Replicas as well. | |
