| i myself would be considered a spotter and i am getting ether the JG M4-A1 or the echo 1 SCAR but a spotter needs a good ranged high ROF gun that you can use well enough to get u out of the sticky situations that arise check them out at evike.com | |

| Hey, I just wanted to get my input in here:
This is my first post on this forum. I'm glad to see a dedicated sniper/spotter area online that I can get/share advice with my fellow marksmen. Lookin' forward to alot of good threads and such.
Ok, so back to the question. You were wondering about a good spotter replica. Well, as a spotter, you probably want a sniper platform with mid to long-range capability (preferably close the your primary sniper partner), and semi and automatic fire selections. From my experience, I have found the SR-25 to be one of the most effective AR-type sniper platforms available. I personally own an A&K SR-25 and it's accurate range is aproximately 200 feet with a .28 g BB projectile (depending on weather and wind variables). With that capability, the sniper as well as the spotter have the ability to 'simultaniously fire", where the spotter and sniper are take a shot at the same target at once, on command. Then, if you need to make a quick escape or make contact with indiginous forces, the spotter has automatic fire abilities. With 4x optics you have the ability to engage mid to long-range hostiles.
Hope this helps and I wish you luck with your search for a spotter platform. "One shot, one kill...chaos en demand"
HOORAH.
Spotter: "Contact, short male, brown hair, thinks he's badass" Sniper: "Contact confirmed" Spotter: "Sniper ready?" Sniper: "Ready" Spotter: "Send it" Sniper: "Firing" Spotter: "Badass down. Not so badass anymore eh?" Sniper: "Hoorah" | |

| NOOO!!!! don't get the URX. It's basically the SR-25 rifle's retarded cousin. If you're gunna get an SR, get the one meant for "sniping". The one with the longer barrel "silencer". | |

| Na, I meant that If your in it for marksmanship, you've gotta get the gun that looks the part. The URX looks more like a primary assault rifle than a sniper/spotter platform. The SR-25 is currently being deployed in the long barrel variant by our marksmen as the M110-SASS (Semi Auto Sniper System). Thats just my opinion. The internals are the same anyway | |

| I think I will get the SR-25. What kind of upgrades are needed out of the box for a dm range gun. I have heard all it needs is a hopup bucking and a tightbore. Any thoughts on this? P.S. I am not getting the urx because I hate it. | |
