| I was looking at the CYMA Real Wood Full Metal AK-74u. I saw the D-boys AK-74u, but I like the CYMA better. Is this a good buy?
Also if you know a good SCAR, M14, or HK416 under $200, could you name one? Thanks guys.

| AK-74 by D-Boys is terrible in the Accuracy department. Poor Hop-up. If you're going CYMA, I say get a rather expensive one to make sure you get your moneys worth with them. And Rusty, you can Edit your post instead of making a whole new post to correct a spelling error. | |

| Oh, hehe. Thanks for the info on the Kalash. And also thanks for telling me I can do that. I can't think when something like that is bothering me. | |

| Great suggestion once again, JARHEAD!! I would put my money into that VA AK out of all the guns listed so far hands down. | |

| Well, lets compare those two guns. The things I mark in bold will mean it is marked as better than the other. Now, just because it mentions something on one, doesn't mean the other has it.
They are also both 119 dollars, so if you follow the "you get what you pay for" method, then you can't go wrong with either. But let us ignore that method for now and just look at the facts.
Edit: I changed the bold to underline because bold doesn't show up that well.
First the "YMA Real Wood Full Metal AK-74u."
Real Wood 350 FPS W/ .20 and up to 150 - 200 Feet Adjustable Hop Up Full Metal Gear Box 500-Round Quick Wind High Capacity Magazine Included 8.4V 1100mah NiCD Battery and Charger Included Real Wood Foward Grip Completely Tokyo Marui Compatible (Magazine and Upgrades)
Now, the D-boys AK-74u
Steel Body and Receiver New Stampled Stainless Steel 450 Round Hi-Cap Magazine Metal Ver. 2 Gearbox The other doesn't specify. Adjustable Hop-Up Metal Side Folding Stock (The other doesn't specify, but I'm sure it has it). Metal Front & Rear Sling Mount Includes Tactical Sling, Battery and Charger (The sling is not said to be included with the other) Greater then 380 FPS (0.2 g BBs) Says greater, but no specific number.
They also appear to both be made from the same company, so I don't think you need to factor in which company is better. Which makes it a more difficult choice.
They are also both marked as middle level Electrical rifles.
Now, for fun let us add the Vector Arms Full Metal CPM AK74UN Airsoft Gun by ECHO 1
First, it's $165, so if you really do follow the "you get what you buy" method, this one would be it. But let us look at it's stats too.
Manufacturer: Echo 1 Gearbox Type: Ver. 3 Length: 840mm Accuracy: 100 feet Muzzle Velocity: 350 fps Magazine Capacity: 600 rounds Battery Size: Stick Type Package Included: Manual, Magazine, Battery, and Charger
Features: Metal Side Folding Stock Vector Arms Trademarks Metal Receiver and Barrel Assembly Front and Rear Sling Attachment Points
This one is also covered under a warranty, and although airsoft warranties usually only last 30 days, that still says something. They also offer customer reviews. I won't post any here, but I suggest you browse them too and see what others say.
Now, I am not going to suggest which one you should get (And this information is directly from each rifles page). But I hope seeing them listed this way can help you make a choice. | |
