| I know I'm a sniper, but I'm thinking about getting a nice AEG for times when I feel like being loud on the battlefield and generally raising "watch you language". anyone know of any good guns under 170$? links and pictures are appreciated. | |

| a simple JG m4 would be the way to go. they are cheap as well (only 115 bucks) or you could get something a little more efficient and reliable like a G&G m4 | |

| Go with JG or echo 1 for budget M4s and M16s, and CYMA for AKs if you want the best for you cash. | |

| Your budget is $170, but if you push that up a few dollars you could grab a decent G&G as NN2H suggested. That'd be the way to go in my opinion. But if you're set on your $170 limit, I'd look at the Cyma AK's. | |

| I would agree with buying a CYMA, but I have heard many, many good things about the G&G Combat Machine M4. | |

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3885 Looks like a good choice, but watch the stock. They have a tendency to crack...so treat her nicely. Its E1, its a SCAR, and its from ASGI...so you're set. | |

| I know sniper_32 had some problems with his E1 SCAR-L, and ended up sending it back and getting a full refund on it. Just wanted to point that out. | |

| Get the Combat Machine M4. It's cheap on ASGI and shoots right at 360, great durability, blah blah blah, buy it, blah blah blah, I own one, blah blah blah, do it. | |

| Does the blowback really do anything but use more batter power? | |

| not really. but on the higher end blowback systems it actually helps push the bb through the barrel. (its effect is not a whole lot but its just enough i suppose) | |

| the blowback was the only one that said it shot more than 350 fps. our team plays with pretty high fps (anywhere from 400 to 480) | |

| Well mine says it shoots 480 but its way less than that. After getting shot by Seth's, there is no way. | |
