| ok I finished only with my way, via pictures, hour or so and I'll be done ok here is my entry We have all wanted to paint rifles, but for some reason, we decide not to, usually because of not knowing where, or how, to start. I am here to get you to start chapter one the colors "if you can use whites and blacks, you can use other colors We all know camo colors; brown, green, tan, black. Wise painter say,"use color opposite of the light exposure!" in english that means where it is light use dark and dark, use light! These principals are what I call the"guiding light, and darks". When you are specificly using a pattern that you can't determine with freedom lights and darks, then you need to use the ideas of constant lines, so the LINES will make the eye think it is a stick, rock, or log.To do this, you must use the right colors to make it look like a log rock ect. at short range. the patterns stencils are the best for the free painter We know the 1st grade homework assignment to make a pattern of squares circles and triangles, but we are AIRSOFT and we KNOW BETTER THAN STRAIGHT LINES.Straight lines are dead givaways for a soldier that a person or human made object is there,SO MAKE CURLY-Qs IF YOU MUST! to make stencils that are free and not the $50 from duracoat(but they are NIIICCCEEEEE ) 1 take cardboard or hard paper 2 take a pen 3 make a slopy circle, make it wavy curly and slidy, afterwhich you should add on another line off of the circle this time make it a triangle like shape(remember no straight lines) 4 repeat steps 2 and 3 untill paper is filled in the picture above I showed you the gun and the stencils. In this case, We are using a pumpmaster pellet rifle and cardboard stencils. getting ready OK, are you ready to paint a rifle that you spent hard time to buy and upgrade? Good, if you said no, then look no farther, unless you are painting somone elses rifle You first need to choose your first color, in my case it is black, BUT WAIT!Do you want primer? it;ll save you the time of repeating the entire job again. ok you decided to use primer, good choice(and if you didn't oh well) make sure that you have a even coat of primer, about one pass per spray area should cover it. next it it time to put a base on, I, as I said before< use black after it drys(about 5 minutes) put on your first stencils put them on firmly and make sure they will stay on when they are getting hit with wind and paint next it is time to chose more stencis, and a new color! don't take off the other stencils, that will come later. and now the final color, I used a tan. put on more stencils and put on the final paint and you are done, unless you want some grease and special effects, like grease first is to rummage for some almost empty black paint, so it squirts little drops of paint. next do a VERTICAL sweep of the paint and you should get this it also works as rust if you load it heavier on some places also acrylic black can be used lightly to darken paint already on the gun this concludes my entry on painting a rifle, I hope you will use this to an advantage, and good luck on the field! semper Fi, carry on
