| Hey everyone I'm new here and I was wondering what y'all would suggest for a tactical vest (I would like it to be ACU) and i don't want any nylon stuff I need it to last a long time and my use for it is for carrying my M14 mags and all my battery's and smoke bombs and stuff (My price range in from $20-$50). I have look at these on Evike.com for vests and here is what I've found so far People say this one has a neck piece for support... But say its a pain to go prone. http://www.airsoftpost.com/fire-dragon-special-level-special-force-vestacu-p-28454.htmlThis one i think is made out of nylon because if you look at the tan color one its shiny and not very sturdy. http://www.airsoftpost.com/condor-pocket-chest-regular-2999-p-29654.htmlIf any one can give some advise, I would really appreciate it. Thanks | |

| I'd get a MOLLE vest honestly. They're more expensive but i know you can get pouches that are made for M14 mags. Plus there's a whole bunch of designated and utility pouches available so you can get them for all the other stuff you want to carry. | |

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_96&products_id=3013 Well on the vest description it says that i will hold like 3 mags(which I'm guessing thats for like M4's and AK's) But would it hold like just one M14 mag? Oh and I have changed what camo I'm looking for... well from looking more closely at my land I play mostly in forests so i am thinking i want to get some collor that would look good with Woodland DIGITAL. I was thinking that tan and WLD wood look good from a picture i saw Ok well i was looking some and found this one... http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_173&products_id=3831

| I have the black version of that one and there's no way you're fitting M14 mags in that vest. | |

| I wouldn't recommend mixing colors unless you WANT to stand out. As far as camouflage goes, MARPAT (woodland digital) and Woodland are both good choices for woods and underbrush, and also work well at night. ACU, I find isn't as versatile, but I'd assume it would blend in well with concrete, sand, and any sort of bleached out, sunny, dry environment. It doesn't work at night. I've never used multicam, but I hear it's decent in all environments. I don't know anything about tiger stripe. Anything more exotic than those, I'd assume would be more expensive. As far as solid colors go, I would only go that way if you're not into stealth. If you don't feel you need to be stealthy, go ahead and get whatever looks cool. That's my two cents worth | |

Also i see some guys that were like 2 diffrent camo... like this http://www.airsoftpost.com/images/Pictures/3-20.jpg

| Well, ultimately you can buy whatever you want, but this is my favorite site for vests, pouches, etc. I still haven't actually ordered anything from them, but I like their stuff. A lot of it will be out of your price range, and you don't like nylon, but if it helps, there it is. | |

Well actually I just want something that wont tear. Which nylon to me seems to unravel when it gets a rip or small tear in it But so ya as long as its good quality stuff then its okay with me I'm trying to get the best buy with my money.

| Yeah, I hear ya. Like I said, I haven't bought anything from them, and I can't find any online reviews for the site so I'm kind of weary of that. Do a google search and switch to shopping results. That's helped me find what I want where it's significantly cheaper than where I originally found it. So once you know exactly what you want, google shopping can find you the best price if you haven't already found it. | |

| MOLLE gear has little loops on it that pouches and things attach to. Just look at pics of it, you'll see what I mean. MOLLE stuff is designed to be easily customizable with pouches. | |

Ya but then if you do it slowly (which i would have to do or just not get MOLLE) then you would have to make purchases like every month or week... Which the shipping price would be high.
