| so I finally got this gun back after 3 months of waiting and having to send it back. I shot it a little, and there is another problem. Sometimes, the gun simply won't shoot. I have to fiddle with the selector switch for a full minute to get it to fire again. and when I leave in the battery, the whole battery drains out in about an hour, when all it has been doing is sitting in my room. Do any of you know how to fix any of these problems? thanks. | |

| Its a short. Or the motor was wired inversely so it can't spin at all.
Does the pistol grip heat up?

| Lone wolf nailed it,
Your gun is grounding out, there is a short in the wiring.
I know you donĀ“t want to here this, but it needs to go back for repairs if it is still under warentee. | |

| I would actually try just checking the wiring myself, before I were to send it back. Possibly saving time and money. | |

| Taking off the pistol grip and dissassembling the receiver. If you don't see any damage to the wire, then you may have a problem inside your gearbox. trigger is faulty, or the pinion gear stripped through both wires and created the short by acting as the conductor which is rare.
Mechbox.com should show you how to take it down to the mechbox, and the mechbox itself if you still have issues.
Good luck. | |

| I would send it back to be safe or just demand a refund or store credit and get something of better quality. | |
