| LOL at my local gun club all we have to do is show up, borrow a gun from the club(granted you passed your gun safety classes.), buy a box of shells, sign the team roster, and go shoot. Its fairly simple around here but im sure its WAY more complicated in the big cities. All you will need is a gun, shells, proof of gun safety, and a vest for empties etc. | |

| Ya I shoot skeet. Never really cared for trap, but I do it every once in a while. Right now I'm using an escort over-under 12 ga for sporting clays and my custom Remington 11-87 for hunting. | |

| Anything Remington. The 11-87 I have is great, but maybe out of your price range. Looking for 12 ga or 20? | |

| Ah that does change things a bit then.
Most Remington and Baretta 12 ga semi autos are $1000+
I'd look into Escort, Mossberg, or Weatherby.
So are you looking for a sporting clay shotgun or hunting?

| I personally like over-unders and pumps better than semi because you concentrate on placing your shots a little better. While hunting that really matters.
People tend to get a little cocky with semi autos because they know they can unload 3+ rounds in under a second...and typically miss every time. It's really just a matter or preference and price.

| Naw it's just best that you buy in-person. You have to fill out all kinds of paperwork and stuff. It's just all around better to buy a firearm in-store. I don't even think you can legally buy one online anymore. | |
