Answering the Unanswered Threads

To the Mods: if there is already a thread about this, please dump this thread in there.

I've been trying to clean out the unanswered threads as best I can, but I need some help, my friends. It can't be a one man operation.

I just hate to see unanswered threads.

I usually look at them a few times every day... I always answer whatever I can.

Thanks for you help, but if you look at them, most are either very area specific, tuning information, FYI, DYI.

Answering or responding to a thread should be more than just a Simple `` Amen ´´, `` Whoyaa ´´, `` Dude, You are so Right ´´, and if members would just use the search every once in a Blue Moon, most have been answered, and more than once.

Personaly, I would rather see the threads answered with some solid, contributing information or feeling about the given topic, than just answering to answer.

How would you feel if you ask for information about VSR take down and the answers go along the lines of,.....

Well first you gotta take the screw things out of the body, pull the long round silver/yellow tube thingy that looks like my dads chauking gun, now you will see a screw on the other end away from the nipple with the hole in it, you need to drill that out with a 6 or 8 mm drill bit, be real freaking careful Dude, if you mess up then you have to buy a whole new gun, and that sux hard. I never did this but I watched my buddies friend do it like just last year, now his gun is a flipping monster, shoothe the poo stains of an ants bum from 200 meters, WAY !!!

I do that too...its just not my main focus. I hate to see threads left abandoned because people ignore it or they don't have an answer. Im with you guys on answering the threads even thoughi might not have the best answer or sentence sctructure........

Answering just because it's unanswered is almost cruel. The owner of the post doesn't want to have his hopes raised on receiving an answer, only to see someone only replied with "Good luck" Or "yeah I need to know too."

At least give them an opinion, or send the link to the post to me and if I have an answer for him I'll give it to him. Also, don't necro post back from the dead because at a certain point the owner won't even be concerned with it anymore.
