| I don't know if any of this holds true for the Echo 1, but I own a JG G36C and here are the pros and cons I have found. Pros: reliable high fps (could be a con) very, very sturdy nice weight to it Cons: high fps difficult to find mag pouches for it mags on the market aren't really that great somewhat difficult to find replacement parts for it I'd rate the rifle a 4/5, though I've never taken it onto the field. At least not yet, haha | |

| Those look like single STANAG mag pouches, so no. I can barely fit a mag into a double STANAG 5.11 pouch. So far, the only mag pouches I've found that actually work for the G36 mags are ALICE mag pouches, and you can only fit one mag in instead of three STANAG mags. | |

| Well those are made for two mags, and i know you can actually make them bigger by soaking them in hot (almost boiling) water and then putting something inside to stretch it out, so should i do that, because im already on a budget as it is, and im getting the gun from my parents for christmas, and im planning to spend no more then $150 on gear and mags, which i already have my BDUs but i still need a vest and the mags, which is about $100, which i don't have (hoping to get from other relitives) so should i just do that or get a new vest? | |

| Well, here is the beautiful thing: ALICE clips work just fine on MOLLE. That's just what I'd do. I just haven't had much luck with any type of MOLLE mag pouches. Maybe you will, though | |

| Just saying great job alex. Youve REALLY improved and im happy to see your getting into the sport. Cause let me tell u from one AS dead state to another, when local people see us duking it out in gear and unifroms it looks like COD 4. And everyones gotta love COD 4 so when people see you in your gear and uni youll get respect and youll spur out players. In one year i created 14 in my area because WARPIGS looked like super cereal fun.
As for gear my chest rig has 3 5.56 double mag pouchs but heres the best part. It holds m4 mags and as JARHEADs proved it holds his SR 25 mags it will fit one g36 per puch im sure and the rig is 20 bucks. | |

| Well i looked at chest rigs, and the one thing that turned me off is how bulky they are in the front. They look like they'd just swing around and it would be hard to put your arms down, and they just don't look quite right. Oh and when i asked how much each pouch costs, i didnt see that it was a chest rig, that was my bad! | |

| I've seen them in use at my field, and they don't swing around or anything. In fact, they seem to stay right where they are, except when the person wearing it is booking it. | |

| How do they look? like does it look like they have a big hump of material in the front or does it lay fairly compact, Because thats the one thing that turns me off when i look at chest rigs, they look so bulky and weird in the front. | |

| I'd compare it to a plate carrier with a lot of pouches in the front | |

| IMHO, it looks pretty nice. But it's ultimately up to you. I won't be wearing it in the field. | |

| Well, it looks pretty good, i can fit one G36 mag in each mag pouch, Two stacked on each side, (which thats all my mags) and then a map pouch (which ill probably have maps and a notepad in because youll never know when you need to draw out something) and more bbs in one of the other like 2 pouches and maybe another battery if i get one (should i get another battery?) | |

| Sounds good to me! And yes, definitely get another batt. It really sucks when you run out of juice on the field. I need to get another one. | |

| Yeah, that's happened to me on the field with a rented rifle. I hate having to call out, clear your rifle, put the barrel condom back on, and then walk through the field while hoping nobody with an itchy trigger finger gets jumpy. | |
