what is a speed loader?

What is it and how does it work? Do any of you use it?

Speed loaders are tools used by most airsofters for quickly loading magazines. It works on a simple design featuring a reservoir and plunger. When the plunger is compressed, bbs are pushed down a chute into your magazine. When decompressed, bbs are gathered by the plunger again to be loaded into magazine...the cycle continues as needed. I recommend using speed loaders because it saves ALOT of time over loading one by one.

You do not need speed loaders in hi capacity mags. Only lo or mid caps will work with a speed loader.

If you have mid or standard capacity mags, you NEED a speed loader. If you only use hi-caps, it doesn't matter so much.
