Why is it...?

Okay, I'm getting a little POd about people not being origonal anymore with there rifles. I went to shadow a team im going to try to play on today, and just watch there game, well i noticed that the only sniper rifles used by the other team were L96s . there infantry all had m4's/M16s. there cqb experts had mp5s and p90's. For one it bugs me how the team used mostly britsh guns the dress up like marine infantry, and how you could use whatever gun you owe. why is this and do you notice to??

Using a set standard for their loadouts shows uniformity in my opinion. I know many teams where every player uses the exact same equipment.

Think of it this way: now team mates can swap mags and help each other out with cleaning, maintenance, and internal work.

the thing is it wasn't a set standared, i was talking to the captin of the team, and he said he posted flyers around his area and got the team together, he said if you got a rifle and gear join. i just think it's getting ridculouse, i am seeing all these l96's and hardly anything else, now days, an the m4s are unreal what happened to being different? I'm getting the m700 but im going to mod it to look like an m24, when was the last time you saw that, or the xm8 I've never seen one in a game

XM8s are hard to make, and from what I've heard they're prone to problems.

Honestly i think it looks like a fish but im trying to get to the point its not an everyday site, go to an as field to shadow and id geuss 70% of the infanty have an m4/m16. I know that it makes it eaiser for the team, but really if you think you always bring more ammo then needed, i bring two 40 round mags for a 2 hour game i might use one, i know infantry uses more ammo, but it only takes 1 shot to get somebody out, 4-5 mags would last me a day

Depending on the game and the length of the game, I will run through anywhere from half a mag to two mags, at the most. The reason Stoner's children are always seen at the field is because of the M16's and M4's versatility, upgradeability, and sheer awesomeness.

yeah, they kinda sicken me now, they all look the same do the same thing "Watch your language", it doesnt even matter anymore with upgrade abillity, you can take a cheap jg m4 and make it as good as the systama. I understand that they are popular, but yet they all look and feel the same anymore, anything though its a fad that will pass i hope, once the us makes a new assault weapon, then comp. make an as version m4s will pass, but right now i want to see my most hated weapons, ak47's used on the feild, and "Watch your language" even an svd

I don't know, a few more bull pups might be nice too.

i was watching one of Scouts videos again and i saw that he mentioned the marines from boston using L85's.
it makes them look more uniformed and i think that's what you need in a team.

I know what vid you're talking about. Those were British Royal Marines, but there was one American player from Boston

yeah l85's im down to see some more of then on the fields, and some more m24's or m40s, and for cqb show people you got a sack, and use a shotgun and not p90s or mp5s. don't get me wrong i like those but there needs to be more diversity now days not main stream crap, i'm starting to get tired of the scar to i like it but you know it's getting popular now, oh well i geuss you'll always have mainstream, i also think it's kinda funny how people are converting back to 'nam uniforms to, oh well.

You said you'd like to see more shotguns in CQB rather than the MP5s and P90s... Would you believe that I have only seen one P90 at my field? And I have never seen an MP5 that wasn't a rental. At my field, I see a lot of AKS-74Us, M4s, an AK-74 here and there. Maybe an FS3, or a G36 every so often.

hmm, i never see shotguns there normaly strapped to people backs for the looks not use, and hey i love nam to, it is the lightest gear set ever, for the packs,

I don't think so. "Watch your language", I don't think even the real steels have an adjustable stock. You are talking about a stock like a M4 style stock, correct?

no no, i mean the recoil pad, like on the l96s where you can make it longer or shorter buy turning a nob

in airsoft there are alot of different guns but most of them are ugly, so instead of looking around until they find what they like they just go buy a M4 or AK. also a lot of new players love the Ak from what i see and older players tend to go with a M4.

I, personally, don't like the AK anymore. At least, not the full size ones. To me, it just looks... ugly. Don't mean to offend anybody, just stating my opinion.

Wood looks retarded on it honestly, I think a strait black gun is the best looking color out there, and the way the AK looks is annoying so whatever, I guess I can't change the fact people are simple minded and don't know how to look for anything cool

I only bought my AK because it was a decent and cheap starter AEG. I'll be moving on to less-common, better looking rifles.

I don't know, I've been going back and forth with what I want to buy for my next primary. I go from SCAR to AUG A3 to M16A4 to everything else. I'm so confused, haha.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with a G3 of some sort. And by the way, nice avatar, second amendment for the win!
