| Just thought I would ask who here are fishermen. I myself do local pierfishing and harborfishing, sometimes take a boat out to the Channel Islands for some more... interesting... fishing. It's a fun sport. | |

| My grandfather used to own a boat in Cape May new jersey, i believe it was a 32 foot. I enjoy taking a rod down to the canal in cape may and sitting but don't do it often. | |

| I love fishing haha, I love going for game fish down in the city (large/small mouth bass, muskies, blue gills, carp, so on) but when I go up to the mountains it's all rainbows and northern pike.
I used to own a small paddle boat and took it out to smaller lakes and what not, then we had to get rid of it, right now, my dad brother and I are trying to save up to get a military raft, the ones that inflate but have heavy duty rubber so the hooks won't pop it. because we go up to the mountins and go on trails to get to lakes that you can't get to unless you take a 45 minute hike.
Fly fishing is pretty fun, I had a Marlbro fly rod (my dad won it by smoking so many packs of cigarette) and gave it to me, I lost it in a move so now I just take a clear bobber that you fill up with water half way and get a fly lead and fish like that.

| Durkee I envy you... Homeless guy called Packrat caught a 4 foot leopard shark at our pier this last summer. Sharks were all over the place in June and July. Wait, maybe it was spring... whatever. I've seen 5 or 6 feet threshers out there too but not close enough to be caught. Another time I caught a halibut that was a HALF INCH below legal keeping size. Dammit!
Haven't been fishing since October but it will be done...
