| im not exactly new to airsoft (i am new to this forum thing though) but i really haven't used much AEGs i only have used bolt action or single action action sniper rifles and the problem i need help with is my ak 47 shoots to the right all the time.
what i have done: 1.)cleaned the barrel. 2.)made sure the bb's were clean. 3.)checked the mag well was clean. 4.)turned hop up off and on.
and yet the problem still persists i am confident that someone knows the solution to this problem and i'd be gratefull if anyone could help.
thankyou | |

| The hop up might be broken. In this case you would need a new hop up and the know-how to install it. If you know people who are good at taking apart AEGs, have them do it. | |

| your bucking, which is a little rubber ring in your hopup, might be torn. All you have to do is take out your barrel assembly, remove the barrel, and replace the bucking. Its a pretty easy fix. | |

| Just replace the bucking it will keep the expenses cheap. And if you have been playing in the cold these past few weeks, the bucking rubber gets extremely brittle. Like keeping lips from chapping, you just smear a little vaseline on the outside of the bucking to seal in the moisture and keep things flexible. | |

| Your barrel is twisted, which is causing the nubbing to contact the left side of the BB only. Take your barrel out of your hop-up and re-install it properly.

| My echo came that way, I had a used VSR come that way. By re-installing the barrel/rubber correctly I fixed both problems... The worst you could do is find its something more serious, ie torn bucking/broken hop-up.... But I would try this first, its cheaper. sticks | |

| Oh "Watch your language", that sucks balls. It could have bent because the outer barrel assembly was incorrectly mounted.
You will be needing a new barrel fo sho.

| A new barrel will go for around $30 and then some if you plan to use the opportunity to put in a TBB. (6.03 works best, fyi) You can get a madbull "black python" TBB AK length for about $30.
But first I would try finding out what could have warped your barrel.

| I am not for sure, it could have even been a freak accident with the cold and your friend dropping it.
A TBB is a Tighter Bore Barrel.

| No that is definitely the result of droppage.
AEG's are clockwork. They require maintenance but if properly cared for, they will never fail you on the field.
