Oh, Evike, why? Why must you do this to me?

Lately, Evike has been excelling at pissing me off. They first pissed me off when they marked the Save Phace facemask in black (don't remember the name) as in stock. I purchased the "Watch your language" thing, and not an hour later recieved an email saying the item was out of stock. This was their first step towards pissing me off. I then called to see what was going on. I was told that the masks would be back "at some point" and that he would send it to me then. He also told me I could not cancel the order. Now I'm not business owner, but if I were, I would smack the customer support guy into the next dog-gone MILLENIUM if he told a customer that. So, I mumbled a few expletives and went on with my life, hoping I would find a mask on my door step "at some point." Three weeks later, I bought my beloved MP5K. Seeing as it came only with a 21-round mag, and that it fires 20 rounds A "Watch your language" SECOND, I decided it would be wise to acquire a few more mags. So, where did I go? Evike. Yeah, I'm not that bright. So, after ordering three 32-round mags, a one point bungee sling, and a Maruzen Loading Muzzle for it, I paid $55 for shipping so I would have the items by the time of a game I had coming up in a few days. This brought the total to right around $160. Yippeee!!! When the mags and other items got here the next day, I eagerly ripped open the box, to find that all the mags had been torn out of their packaging. This was a bummer, to say the least, but I tried one of them out anyways. I filled it with green gas, only to hear a leak. So, I pressed the gas release button. The valve on the top of the mag shot off about 20 feet, and silicone spray went through three layers of thick clothing. So, a few expletives and a shirt change later, I attempted to call Evike. I called them five times, and nobody answered. This was at 1 in the afternoon Pacific time on a Friday. The next day I had a skirmish to get to. So, I tested the other two mags. One kind of had a real, real slow leak, but was good enough to field, and the other one seemed fine. I went through an entire 8 hour airsofting day, with no big problems from the mags. But when it was time to leave, I began to safe the mags by releasing the gas. Guess what happened? Yeah, that's right, the valves shot off and nearly killed the dude next to me. So, I called Evike, and they acknowledged they had recieved a bad batch of magazines recently, but they were not going to take them back. I fought with them for a good while until they finally agreed to take them back and send me new ones, but it is needless to say I am rather fed up with them. Just my past experiences with Evike that I thought y'all might want to hear about.

Wow, that sucks. I haven't gotten anything bad from them, but they have been taking their sweet time on sending me the last few items from my November and December orders. I emailed them last week asking for a rough ETA, but they just said they'd ship them when they get there. Real helpful. It could just be the busy season across the airsoft market, but I'm starting to wonder if I should have spent a couple extra bucks and ordered from somewhere else.

Yeah I learned along time ago not to order from places like that, Airsoft Extreme and Airsoft Atlanta all the way

ob-dow-dow!! that blows, im fed up to, i gotta contact ASGI cause my SR-25 mag,same brand as the gun, goes in and doesnt click in, ima PISSED, im gonna make a thread on that later.

Yeah, I emailed Evike and basically said "Here's what's wrong, it's not right, you need to fix it, what are you going to do about it? AirsoftGI is only a click away, and I am a big customer to you guys."

Check the top of the mag. Make sure nothing is broken, scraped, or anything like that. That happened to one of my mags when I accidentally took a spill while I was being a retard, haha.

Well gents, I have decided Evike is run by a bunch of f**king morons. Here's what happened: I called Evike last Friday basically saying "Hey, you guys have had my magazines for two weeks now, where the heck are they? The guy responded with "Oh, I don't know where they are. Let me go look in the mail pile." So, he ran off, and when he came back, 15 minutes later, he said "I can't find them, did you even send them to us?" I replied "No, I was just jerking your chain" and told him to look again. He came back 20 minutes later and said "I found them. What do you want me to do with them?" I told him they were faulty and I wanted him to send me new ones that definitely worked. I also told him I spent $55 f**king dollars on overnight shipping and that I wanted him to send them to me with overnight shipping free of charge. He obliged on the shipping, but forgot to tell me the mags wouldn't come in until March. So, after waiting a day, I called back and got a new guy on the phone. I told him what was going on, and he was very kind. He told me the new mags wouldn't come in until March, but suggested I had Evike's tecs fix the mags and send them back. I agreed, and he told me he would personally put the mags on the truck the next day. He was so full of sh1t, if you squeezed him it would come out his ears. I waited for three days, but no mags came. I called back, once more. The same guy answered, and I asked him what was going on. He told me that one of the mags was unfixable, so they were going to wait until they got the new mags in before shipping the mags. I told him to refund me for the third mag and send me the other two, and he supposedly did so. Today, I got three mags, all of them even more messed up than before. All they had done was smear a little bit of silicone lubricant on the outside and fill them with gas. Then, get this, they shipped the mags one day air with gas in them. They are f**king morons, and I will never, ever, ever buy anything from them again.

SUE THEIR A55! Just kidding. Get your mags back to you and all fixed up. Then, you shall have a sleepover at a friends house. Then. you shall prank call them. Have fun.

That is quite the series of oversights. Lately I've been looking other places for future purchases.

I'll prolly just tell them I want a full refund and want to keep the mags, then have John down at my airsoft field fix them for me. This is just getting f**king ridiculous

Go for it. You should call and ask for Tim though. He's helped me out before. ASGI has been very good to me; they've even upgraded my shipping for free before

Actually, my orders from them have been coming in. Slowly, but surely. No problems other than delays and back-ordering. My only issue is that their cheapest smart charger is somewhat faulty. It requires pressure on the cell number selector otherwise it doesn't charge. This can be remedied with a heavy textbook, and if that ever fails I'll just open it up and fix it myself. I'm pretty handy with electronics. Nevertheless, I've been looking elsewhere for the remaining items I'll need.

I've been getting hit with backorders on nearly every order I place. It's unbelieveable

I solve that problem by only using Redwolf Airsoft and Airsoft GI. RedwolfAirsoft is very nice, and when backordered on one of their items, they actually called me to explain the situation (instead of just emailing me), and offered a full refund, or another item of theirs for equal value. I have been very impressed with them, and most of their packages arrive 2 or 3 days later. Highly recommended.

I've actually been looking into redwolf. Some of their vests are labeled that they won't ship to the U.S., any word on why that is?

No clue. Some of the things that they have are labeled from the manufacturer that they cannot ship them to the US, but I am not completely sure why. AirsoftGI has better vests, though.

GI doesn't have anything in CB though. Redwolf has tons of it, all in 1kD cordura.

I beg to differ, Omega. ASGI carries (mostly) the exact same stuff that Evike does. OE Tech and Condor are the same thing. The only difference is with the manufacturer. For example, G&P pouches are going to be darker than Condor pouches because they are made out of higher quality material. I have a Condor IFAK and a G&P triple SMG mag pouch, and they are just barely different. At a distance, you'd never be able to tell.

Alot of the "tan" items on GI are coyote brown, at least the OETech ones.

Hey guys after reading through all these posts here, i have to say i am terrified about ordering from evike now. I ordered my G&G Extreme 45 from them and paid for 3 day shipping, and it was here the next day! and this was in DECEMBER.

However, the real reason i am here is to ask about some questionable prices. Some of you may have seen that i am planning on ordering an A&K m60 or A&K M249, from Evike. However, after looking at ASGI, i am confused as to why they are $100 less on Evike...

Any ideas?

I don't know, but it's still not worth it, undertaker. I bought nearly $700 worth of crap from Evike mainly because of the prices and great selection, but I've been getting screwed over the past three orders, and now they're screwing me over once more. I'm sick of them. I know this is going to sound difficult, it does for me too, but I'd just save up and buy from ASGI because you know they won't screw up.

They could have different years, different models in stock. You might contact each of them and ask. I'd say $100 is worth going with Evike if they both have the same gun. Evike just got several shipments on (I think it was) friday, so they should be much better now than they were the last 2 months or so.
