| Why would you shop at amazon for airsoft? Airsoftgi.com pyramidairsoft.com evike.com kapowe.com airsoftatlanta.com airsoftextreme.com shortyusa.com
Would all be better. even airsplat.com than amazon.
Look at their selections. The E1 Para M249 goes for half the price the CA...if thats what you really want.

| Yeah heres a tip to start with...don't buy form amazon..Airsoft Extreme or Airsoft GI. don't buy anything till you have atleast $1000 saved..thats what I did..buy a TM or CA AEG, and have the store upgrade it for you...that way your set with no hassle.
If the store sells anything by crossman..or sells paintball stuff DO NOT trust it (evike..shorty..ect are bad, customer service sucks..)

| You also need to realize, Sgt. Pepper, that the gun/gear does not make the player. Try doing a lot more practice. Practice makes perfect, eh? | |

| Ill break it down (This was my stuff)
CA SL-8=290 AEX CA duribility upgrade=200 somthing 2* 9.6 volt 1500 bateries=60 Universal SMart charger=40 Vest=30 Hydration system=30 Rail=49 Scope=30 BBs=..I forget but .25 perfect TM Various pouches=50+ This is just basic, if you need uniforms add another 100 or so, field fees, fees for water/food ect for games..the list goes on and on. don't start this hobby cheaply you might end up disapointed
As you see it adds up very fast (If you don't buy junk)
You can buy decent stuff for around 500 like the other guy said but it wont last more then a year or two

I beg to differ. As long as you maintenance it and take care of it, it can last you years. My buddy Alex has a $10 springer pistol that he got when he was 12 and it still works. He's 19 now.

| No, around $500 is no PoS. If you wanted to, of course knowing how to properly care for your AEGs, you can make it last as long as you want. And this applies to even the E1's. | |

| You like the Marine Corps? That will be a fairly easy loadout to put together. A PMC loadout would be pretty easy too. All you need for the PMC loadout are a uniform, whether it be woodland, MARPAT, CADPAT, whatever, a tactical cap, a shemagh, and some form of load bearing equipment. I actually pulled off a PMC look fro quite a few games before I got my Persian Gulf loadout together.
edit: you can't link to shortys, sorry. All their links go straight to their front page.

| i actually have woodland camo from my father that i plan on building a loadout around. The cool thing is, since it was my dads, it has my last name on it plus a badger patch and a rank. Im not sure what kind of camo it is, but its kind of older. *EDIT* about the gun, its the 4th one down on the 4th page of electric guns *EDIT* its a woodland BDU camo, i just looked it up

| Probably good ol' woodland then. Okay, then Marine Corps is out of the picture. Like I said though, a ver nice little PMC loadout can be made very easy and cheaply. | |

I understand that completely, but practice is near impossible for me. The closest thing i have to practice is dressing up and shooting coke cans in my basement

| I would really just recommend saving up for a simple Echo 1, use it for a year or so and start saving up for like a KWA, G&P, CA, VFC, ARES/STAR, Celcius etc. Going with the best right way only works if you have the money from the start. Go with an Echo 1, get a nice pair of eye protection, smart charger (life saver), cheap set of BDUs or just dark cloths and go play. Don't try to impress people with how you look or what gun you have, impress them with how you play the game. | |

| Echo 1 May be more beginners, but it is often upgradable and an amazing company. I honestly outperform alot of people with CA's and TM's. Don't listen when people say "Buy TM only" ECHO 1 sucks, etc. These are amazing guns and parts are easy to find! It's not like they are crossman guns! CYMA's m14's are amazing too, out of box it can take a 9.6Volt and fires super fast! | |

Agreed. CAs don't impress me at all out of the box and between a TM and an Echo 1 i'd take an E1 every time.
