| Anyone around here into either? I kind-of want to try knife-throwing after seeing this dude on the boardwalk get arrested (well, he was performing with knives until he was arrested) hahah. So anyway, I'm gunna pick up some cheap throwing knives from BUDK and see what kind of damage I can do | |

| Yea I do. I have a two tomahawks XD and six really cheap throwing knives.
I also have a few metal cards that look like playing cards but they are solid metal and have a blade for a edge.

| Im okay. I don't parctice with them as often as the tomahawks...well because I'm better with tomahawks.
Just find how many rotations per feet you get and range yourself according to that so that the blade will consistently hit the target

| Sorry for the double post. What do you think of these?I was told to get the Bo-Kri type for learning because they're really well balanced. | |

| I used to dabble in it a bit..heres some advice. first w/e you think is probably wrong, when you throw the knive it is NOT suposed to spin, it is suposed to make one rotation ONLY before hitting the target, you acomplish this by not pending your wrist when you throw...theres some good videos on youtube as for the knvives you need to find somthing that fits you, good balance and good steal. | |

| Ya my Akido trainer said pretty much the same things. He's the one that recommended the Bo-Kri blades. I got my hands on his last week and threw a few times and it is so much fun. | |
