So recently I was going through old stuff in my attic, and came across my grandfathers old knife. It is pretty rusted, and has other crap on it. Do you guys have any tips on what to do to get it looking good? Pictures will come in a second, gotta get a camera.

Edit, very poor picture, but you can kinda see it.

This seems like it would work pretty well. You may wish to wait for someone else though. I am thinking about this with a knife I found.

What kind of condition is the knifes sheath in? I can't tell from the picture

Again, sorry for the poor picture... The sheath is in pretty poor condition aswell, it looks like barnacles started to grow, but then got scraped off. I think my dad took it out on boats a lot.
