| I have a Well MB05 and want to put a new spring in it that would get me up to about 500 fps or more with .28g bbs. What sort of spring should I get? I've also heard that I might need to get new trigger sears/spring guide/piston. Is any of that necessary. If you have a specific recommendation, links to the product are much appreciated. Thanks for the help! | |

| MB05 w/ a spring firing .28 at 500 FPS...
It sounds like torture. You just need to step up to a better gun. At that tension it is a lot more than just switching a spring. | |

| I'm really not looking to buy a new gun right now. What do you think i could get to on the MB05, eg: Whats the highest spring I could put in it and what other upgrades should i put in along with that? | |

| 500fps with .28's is asking a lot. You will probably have to do more than just a spring upgrade if you want that kind of results. | |

| I don´t think that just trading out the spring is going to do you much good, standard the gun shoud be shooting at around the 450/500FPS level with .20g bbs ( 2,32 Joules ). To bring it up to the 500FPS, with .28G bbs ( 3,25 Joules ), A metal Springuide with Spacer, A re-enforced Trigger Box, maybe even a full metal piston. I will admit that my experiance with Springers is limited, but those are the adjustments I would make. Keep in Mind if you achieve the 3,25 J, with .28g bb´s you are going to be shooting around the 4Joule Level with .20g, you are going after a 100% improvement to the guns performance, the standard parts are not going to be able to handle the load. | |
