| If you want to buy from Evike, just take your money and burn it in your hand. That's the better way to waste your money. If you do buy a Systema at some point, stay away from the kits. A guy at my field bought one of the kits and had the owner of the field put it together... it's a piece of crap. He's constantly having problems with it. | |

| Don't mean to be off topic, but the Glock 23 is the other full auto, right? I can't remember | |

| For real steel, no. It is a .40 caliber semi auto hand gun (buying one soon). In airsoft, yes. It is the compact (not subcompact) fully automatic/semi automatic one. It is very nice. | |

| Thanks for the info, SnoSnipe, I appreciate it
The shape of the grip always looked a little awkward to me, though... sort of like the barrel of the Glock 34... (shudders)
anyways, back to topic, eh?

| The Glock 23F is the full auto version.
Jarhead, the problems are probably due to poor construction... The one I used was form a kit, put together by one of the best smith's in ohio. It didn't have any problems.... At the time I didn't like it because it was almost matched in performance by CA 2009 M4's. But the CA's will never have the same trigger response...
airsoftsmith.com I have used their walk in store for 5 years now with no complaints. They are a great group of guys, and personal friends now. Prices may be higher than ASGI or Evike by $5, but IMO its worth the extra $5 for the great customer service and their ever improving inventory.

| Yes, yes it does. I was going to suggest it but it's over the price you specified. | |

| You might want to pick up some rail covers. And BBs too if you don't have any. Oh and a couple magazines. | |

| Getting a decent smart charger would be a very good idea. A fore grip or rail covers would also be something i'd recommend getting since even with gloves on RIS rails aren't the most friendly things to hold. An extra high-cap or two or a set of standards/mid-caps (whatever you want to use) might be another good idea.
I'd also say maybe step up to a 9.6 battery but not right away so you can find out what size battery will work. Crane stocks are a royal pain in my opinion when it comes to finding the right battery.

| thanks, I'll look around and ask people that have this gun what battery would fit. Thanks for all the help. I will also be going to a military surplus store sometime Wednesday anything like vests or that i should see that they have? Ive been looking at KA-BAR knives just to have as i don't have a good knife too. | |

| Should be able to pick an old LBV for cheap if they have them.
Ka-Bars are awesome knifes, SOGs are as well. If you want something cheap but good old M7 bayonets aren't that expensive. That's what i carry and i picked it up a few years ago for like $30 or so.

| awesome thanks. xD I'm extremely interested in making everything very realistic and that, because my Great grandpa was in WWII 101st airborne division and I've always wanted to join the military, but I'm only 15 so i have a few years to go, but the entire military look and that intrigues me. Sadly he died November 22nd 2009, but i hope to continue the service in the family | |

| not real sure. Ive been thinking navy seals, but i read a book a few days ago about a marine in vietnam, so both seem very interesting. But both won't be easy. I have also thought about the green berets or something similar. Maybe even a branch for sniper's, but again all will be a challenge. | |

| Crane stocks can be very picky which again is why i don't like them for battery storage (they're great stocks besides that). If you want to use a 9.6 i'd maybe call or e-mail ASGI (or whomever you buy from) and ask them to check and see what battery will fit properly. | |

| Keep in mind it will come with a battery so don't buy one if you don't want to upgrade it. | |

| true, i saw a video review though and they used a 9.6, so il ask them what they did. They said it increased the ROF quite a bit to a point where it was very good. thanks for the help, you guys are the best people ive met on an airsoft forum EDIT: they used the default 9.6 that came with the gun. sounds like im set with some rail covers, a rds, mags, and an extra sling. then after that will be picking a side arm <<(has to wait a few months ) | |

| Haha no problem.
Yeah on most guns a 9.6 is a big leap over an 8.4. I run an Intellect 9.6 nunchuck with my KWA and it's plenty fast enough for what i need. Even sticking it on my cheap Crossman AK it turns the little thing into a BB hose.
