| depends it's a two way deal you can pinpoint the enemy but they can also track the laser to your gun which your holding. in some cases they can be really nice as for one that my friend had that was inferred and could only be seen threw that scope on his gun. then just the regular lasers they just are a pain you could get a red dot and it would work just as fine, if it's for a side arm then it's easier to look threw the sights, because you would have to turn on the laser every time you pulled it out. | |

| Well i would probably put it on a KWA G36C, and wouldnt they be hard to trace back to the source in daylight? | |

| They'd only be able to see it if there was an excess amount of dust in the room or in the air. If it's just a normal situation they won't be able to track it unless you shine it on them from directly ahead of them. | |

| I find them useful for night games, if i'm playing indoors/CQB, or using it to light targets up for my teammates who. I have an NC STAR green laser and it's pretty nice and is one i'd recommend. I can use it during the day and still am able to pick up the dot on anything but direct sunlight. No matter what though i'd say get a green laser over a red since green is easier for the human eye to see. Oh yeah and it is hard to pick it up from the side unless it's very dark or there's a lot of dust or smoke floating around. | |

| Thanks for the link! also, wouldnt green be harder to see in green foliage? I play in semi-dense woods. | |

| With mine the laser has some nice power and the dot is pretty bright that i don't have any problem seeing it on foliage. | |

| There was a video somewhere on military.com explaining the benefits of green lasers to red ones. I'll try to find it | |

| Yep.
I forgot they're a pretty good deterrent sometimes for keeping peoples heads down. Taking a tac laser to the eye isn't the most comfortable thing in the world. | |

| Interesting video, but after reading several of the comments i feel that several people still think that red lasers would be more visible......i will probably buy a green one, basing that off of the idea that green is in the middle of the vision spectrum, so slight variations will be picked up more easily. | |

| I've had experience with cheap red lasers but the real nice ones are supposed to be pretty nice. I'd still take green though since it just looks cooler at any rate. | |

| Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. LASER. People who spell it with a "z" include, but are not limited to: children, anon, and splazer newbs from Xbox Live. Often, the three of those coincide. | |

| Bring me the "Laser"! On that note, let me just say lasers scare the heck out of newbies in CQB, haha. Well, for that matter, seasoned vets, too, haha. A guy at my field who has been playing for about 5 years now taught me that when you see a laser, you keep your head down. | |

| Yes, it is very wise not to stare at the laser, haha. One of my friends gave himself accidental Lasik by doing that. | |
