| who else runs around in a tactical crouch. i think it is a very great thing for not getting hit. also its possible to run fairly fast gears of war style in this crouch. although it is a bit hard on the back. who else does this? | |

who else does this? I tried it once, and broke my first springer (a WELL M16A2) in half. Then I used it as a pistol. So no, I don't use it. I'll walk in a crouch, but run? Nah.

| I normally try, but it is difficult for me to run fast in it. So I normally just run up right... | |

| The ROADIE RUN!! I personally hate GOW as a game but the Roadie Run as its called is a really effective way to stay low and move fast, but it is hard on my knees.....its really cool to see people dash around like this in games.. | |

| In areas like where I play there are too many things I could trip, then die from to attempt this. | |

| I use a version called the groucho walk that SWAT tuses to move fast, but keep accuracy high. You can cover a lot of ground, that's for sure | |

| If I'm changing cover I'll just sprint and keep my guard up, and slow down if I need to shoot. If I'm making an assault or something I'll quickly move between cover shooting in between. Crouch-run doesn't really work out for me | |

| I used to do the tactical crouch run. Then I tripped, broke my gun, and got some spring stuck a little bit under my skin. Was a bit painful, but I loved my $50 gun :'( I no longer do that, but I haul ass like a motherf***er when im getting shot at. | |

| I try to stand, walk, and run with the combat stance I saw in a Magpul training vid "The Art of the Tactical Carbine". Makes it easy to transition between looking and shooting, and it's easier on the back. | |

It really doesn't look all that different than regular walking. This is what you do. You bend your knees like in the picture and walk almost heel-to-toe. Pretend you want to put your knee in back of the knee in front of it, just don't actually do that, haha. edit: sorry for the size, if anybody knows how to make it smaller, please share the secret
