| Hey guys, i am looking into buying my first green gas gun. I would not, however, be using green gas, i would be using propane. I was wondering if silicon oil is necessary and what it does. I have always used co2, so i don't know what to expect. | |

| With propane, silicon is suggested because it lubes up internal parts and helps maintain a seal. Good idea going with propane...much cheaper... | |

| Yeah use 100% silicon to keep i lubed up, try to stay away from CO2 as some fields don't allow it. Propane is your best bet, nice and cheap. Just be sure to keep it lubed up. | |

| @drummer I have heard bad things about metal propane adapters, from leaking propane to stripping threads to becoming clogged and the shooting off. whats the deal?
Also, the gun i would be getting the the KWA M93R NS2 with the stock...just fyi there

| Almost everyone with a gas gun in my group of airsoft buddies uses one. They don't seem to have any of those problems, but I don't know 100%. You could always just buy the ones that are made of yellow plastic and lube your gun manually. | |

| I prefer the KJW propane adapter. It's made of yellow plastic. Haven't had a problem yet! Also, just gonna let you in on a little tip. Buy a can of green gas and use that once every fifth refill or so. Another thing you could do is do what I do. I lube the gun when I clean it (which is a lot) so I never have to put lube in the mag.
P Force makes some "Watch your language" good silicon oil, too
