| I have some experience in airsoft and I would like to sell my electric gun to get a spring sniper. After some research and making a budget for myself, I found 2 snipers I was interested in. The JG Bar 10 and the UTG MK96. My first question is if the UTG MK96, UTG L96, and UTG type 96 are the same gun. They seen the same in what I read but they have different prices. If they are different which is best. Second, I have heard thet the JG Bar10 is great but I like the look and bipod that comes with the UTG 96. In an airsoft war is a bipod necessary? And if I am not one to go out and upgrade my gun, unless its free. Which gun is better. If y'all have any other snipers that are better than these and around or under $150 please post them. | |

| The MK96, L96, and Type 96 are all one and the same. They have different prices because of different websites. Honestly, I think the JG Bar 10 is going to be a better choice for you. I recommend a bipod for the stability. | |

| Thanks for the quick response. I watched a video on the JG Bar10 and I did not see a place to mount a bipod. I know I could but a rail and drill a hole into it but is the clamp on bipod as goos as a rail mounted bipod. I know a rail will be more stable, but can this work so I can keep $10-$20. | |

| They have bipod mounts, I'm not certain where. I'm not a sniper, sorry, I'll try to get some people who know what they're talking about on here, haha | |

| I think they are included with a bipod mount that fits into a hole in the body, don't go drillin' holes in your new gun haha. | |

| The Bar 10s are not shipped with a bipod mount or hole to put one. You will have to ask around to figure out how people put them on....IMO its a waste of money because if your running or stalking through the woods a bipod can get caught on things and difficult to deploy. | |

| in order to mount a Bipod in the BAR10 you need to do a few things,
Take off the front sling mount
then attach a bipod that goes on a stud. | |
