| Ssoooo, I just finished the 2001 version of Planet of The Apes, and I don't get the ending. Can someone enlighten me as to how Earth was taken over by Chimps? And why was there a statue of Thade? I have a few ideas butt...yeah a little help??  | |

| If I remember properly, it wasn't taken over so much as just as if instead of humans gaining power the apes did. Almost like an alternate reality that apes and humans switched roles in. | |
