| May I ask why you are getting the MICH-2002? I recommend the 2000. It has the ears, so you won't be getting any painful ear shots. I personally own a Condor MICH-2000 and recommend it. | |

| Is that because of the bracket? That's for NVG's, you can get that for the MICH-2000 as well for $15. As for that mounting a camera now, eh i don't know maybe. It'd be a better idea just to pick up a helmet cam and mount it along the side. | |

| It would be ok other then like what Jarhead pointed out about the no ear protection, not that you get much with the MICH-2000 either but at least there's some (cough PASGT cough). | |

| Yeah, like ilft99 coughed, the PASGT will have more ear pro, but if you're wearing a MICH-2000 and comms equipment, your ears are going to be totally safe. When you're not wear comms and just wearing the helmet, your ears are going to be a lot more protected. So, let me break it down like this.
PASGT = plenty of ear pro, can have NVG mount, looks better IMO, but can't wear comms equipment MICH-2000 = has ear pro, can have NVG mount, can use comms equipment easily MICH-2002 = no ear pro, can have NVG mount, can very easily use comms equipment
I'm not trying to be stubborn, I'm just saying it appears to me like the MICH-2000 will do the job best for you. It's entirely up to you though

| Yeah it seems like it would be better but what exactly is a NVG mount? | |

| NVG stands for Night Vision Goggle. The mounting bracket just lets you use an NVG hands free on a pull down system like this AN/PVS-14: When not in use you can flip the system up and out of the way of your vision vice versa when you need it. | |

| They don't make NVG's just for airsoft (as far as i know). If you want a NVG setup like that you're going to look at paying $3000+ for it. That's mil-spec hardware right there. | |

| There are mock NVG's available for roughly $200. They're non-working, basically just there for looks. Kinda cool, but not too practical...as they serve no purpose.
If you're real dedicated you can get a night monocular for about $400...not quite military-grade NV, but its good enough for airsoft applications.

| Haha yeah some of us are kinda crazy when it comes to dedication for airsoft. But there are alternatives for NVG's that won't break the bank but give the look of having NVG's. http://weaponblender.com/index.php?productID=1737Durkee beat me to it. | |

| For $400, you could get an NV rifle scope. One day, when I have the money for such a thing: epic night game. If I get to a point where I'm going to a lot of night games, it'll become worth it I think. | |
