| This is a short review of the UTG Ranger Bag in MARPAT. I have had this bag since November, and I have been less than gentle with it. It's been on four Southwest flights, a short movie, numerous gear haulings, and has been used once to haul around a Filipino kid to scare my Master Sergeant (funny story, ask for it if you want it, haha). This bag is essentially just a big ass duffel bag with shoulder straps. There are no dividers or anything inside the bag. It is waterproof and has protected my MCJROTC cammies through a rain storm on tarmac in Las Vegas and a foot and a half of snow while waiting in Denver. You could easily fit 200 pounds worth of crap into this bag and still have room for a rifle replica or two. Stitching is pretty heavy duty, though I have seen the stitching come apart on some of the straps for buckles that go over the zippered part of the bag. The bag can get a little top heavy when you're carrying it back-pack style, but as long as you don't bend over to pick anything up or tie you shoe, you should be okay. Just pretend you're in the prison shower. It's an excellent bag for the price, and I highly recommend it. I'm trying to think if I missed anything.... let me know if there's anything you would like to know about the bag. | |
