| I've been airsofting for acouple years now and never really had a good vest, the one vest I had was a Aftermath Airsoft vest which is now held together with duct tape. I like the idea of a h-harness+battle belt set up because its high speed low drag and easy to use in prone. I also like how its not as hot and heavy as a plate carrier, I live in St. Louis where in the summer its hot and humid which is uncomfortable enough without a vest on. But it does lack in molle space, I survive with just the essentials but I don't know if what I want will fit on it or if I will be getting more gear in the future. Also i don't know if it would look good or even if it would fall off when running. What do you guys think? H-harness look http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_135&products_id=4667 or Plate carrier http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_96&products_id=4634 | |

| There really is no comparison of the two...as they both serve a unique purpose for the most part.
The harness is good for "high speed, low drag" loadouts...where you're more of a run-n-gunner that prefers mobility over being able to carry more junk.
The plate carrier is good if you want to carry more junk...and have a little frontal protection for when plastic starts flying.
But between the two, I'd grab the PC...it allows for much more customization. | |

| For the type of AS you and I do semper, both I feel would serve well. We typically engage large forces from an average of 40-80 feet. H-Harness would provide very quick and easy movement, which is a necessity at the Bonhgfield. However; I find myself going through tons of ammo there due to the firefights usual intensity, and now you've got an even higher ROF in that thing. So that's when the PC would come in handy. | |

| i use both sets up from time to time. as durkee states the differences before, it really depends on your playing style. if you want to tank it up and carry a crapload of stuff go with a plate carrier (these are heavy and hot.... somewhat) if you wanna rogue it up go with a battle belt and harness (honestly though the belts are very nice, i like them a lot, also you body can breath a lot better with this) | |

| I recommend a plate carrier, mainly because you can carry all sorts of pouches for whatever you may need.. You may wish to look into the 5.11 Tactical VTAC LBE. It's made of breathable mesh, it's not ery stiff, and you can put pouches all over it. I have seen this vest firsthand, and I really like it. | |
