| A flashlight It is a Streamlight TLR-2. It's great. I love it! It is a very powerful light (best LED I have ever seen!), and a very accurate laser. Next time I get $200, I'm buying the TM 5-7. Will post pictures later. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/62796-1.html | |

| Why in the "Watch your language" would you waste that kind of money on a flash light? I can see somethings but a flash light is a flash light. you could pick up one a little lower quality (not much) for maybe 25 dollars.
I honestly hope you are playing with us because if you are telling the truth well, it's either you are a wealthy child, you have no life, your an idiot (I'm sorry), or you don't know how to find a deal on something of the same quality for a fraction of that price.

| *Grabs slugde hammer and smashes it*
now do you want to say it will never break? Does it at least have a warranty on it I mean for a stupid light it HAS to have something good about it other then it keeps monsters away that are going to shoot at you anyways after their done being blinded.

it's for my real 1911. If you actually shoot real guns, you would understand the need for quality. Real guns come waaayyyyy before airsoft for me.

| Then why are you posting it on an airsoft forum then saying your buying the TM 5-7 after. I do understand the need for quality in real weapons. I have seen money fly out of my dads wallet just for cool little things for his 30-6.
Before I moved I was planning on getting an $800 bow, plus $25 arrows (12) and the razors so I could get an elk down legally those ran for $20 a piece (12) but I had a practical use for those things.
What do you use your 1911 for anyways target practice? I know for a fact you can't legally hunt anything with a 1911, and I also know shooting ranges have lights in them the laser I can see the point but the light just no. If your going out to shoot in the night well I grew up being told it was very very unsafe to shoot at night even with a light on your gun.
I hate to seem like a dick (haha mah name) but I think you really could of found something better to spend your money on, to name a few things Ammo, laser (cheaper), or anything "Watch your language" event that 5-7. I know your going to say you will be able to use it on your airsoft guns to, it's understandable it works for many things but your saying it's for your 1911, so I am going to assume it's staying on it. Anyways how much did you put out for the 1911?
I'm not trying to start anything with you I just think you could of found a for one better deal, for two a better use of your money. I think most of these members would agree with that.

| Okay. I do shoot at night, i can shoot some small pest animals with this legally, You ARE trying to start something, or you wouldn't have posted about me being a "Watch your language" idiot, this IS practical for tactical training (I do this quite a bit), and the 1911 ran me $650. Anything else? | |

| @SnoSnipe I back you up 100% here.
@lonesniper I hold firm to the belief that a weapons light is one of the most important things you can ever mount onto a firearm. Often times, it is the difference between life and death. Have you ever thought about that fact that maybe he bought the weapons light for Home Defense? Now before you start saying "he's fifteen, he doesn't need to worry about Home Defense" hear me out. I'm in high school, and I am more concerned about Home Defense than anyone else in my family. I sleep with a knife under my pillow, I know how to punch in the combo to my the gun safe without looking, and I keep my handgun accuracy deadly for if I ever need to respond to a bump in the night. IMO, everyone should be concerned with Home Defense.
Please do not try to start stuff with SnoSnipe or I, or mods WILL be notified. Thank you.

| Wait did you spend 200? or 277? That's what it is going for on cheaper than dirt. And I do agree with both Jarhead and Sno, A. Let sno do what he wants with his money, it is his to spend on whatever he see's to be needed. And B. It's absolutely a plus to have a light in case something like home defense (as jarhead said) comes into play. You want to know what you are shooting at without having to fumble around with a large hand held flashlight. And if it just so happens that the flashlight is very expensive, so be it. | |

| Yes, I have my 1911 in a locked case at the foot of my bed in case the "Watch your language" hits the fan. I got it for $200 from a store (great deal). Thanks for the back-up, guys. I thought (and still think) that this was a great purchase that could easily pay for it's self by allowing me to keep my life. | |

| Cool buy, Snipe...I'm extremely jelious. Right now I'm just running a $125 Surefire on the Kimber 1911 I use for competition...not laser or anything, but I have a Crimson Trace grip kit w/laser that I still need to install. Probably cost more than what you bought...which is the problem, I think I shoulda gotten the light/laser combo instead. Kinda tempted to sell and pick that one up. Lemme know how you like it! | |

I really like it. My 1911 is in the shop for a cracked frame (the new frame), and have just put it on all of my guns with rails and currently have it on my airsoft glock so i don't lose it (already did once). I have messed with a lot of these lights before, and this is by far my favorite! Will let you know how it works at the range. EDIT: How is the Kimber? I have a Springfield, and am not too impressed with it. I am buying a Glock 23 in a while to replace it. The 1911 is a great gun, it just doesn't fit my hands right.

| Your parents or legal guardians let you have a gun in your possession at all times? COOL I agree with both of you, buy what you like, but beware that since this is a forum that we have a right to criticize and discuss anything posted. I really like this light, I want one, but I can't even own a gun till I move out. the $200 was well spent mostly because of the warranty. This means you'll never need a new one! Again, I like it, would of got something cheaper if it were me, but good buy. | |

Oh man, I would kill for a 23...my uncle has one and my father owned one for a while (sold it because of some restrictions here) I miss it, the 40 is one of my favorite pistol rounds. The kimber is...one word: GLORIOUS. Only problem I've had is with the stock sights. Was showing off (bump-firing, heheh) and they gave in to the excess stress and I lost my rear sights. But I was planning on putting hi-vis sights on it anyway... The G23 is going to be a better buy for you, as .45's are getting real expensive...In fact, right now I'm running a .22 conversion kit. The only time I chamber .45's through it is during pre-comp and regulated competition, really. Part of me wants to invest in a S&W Sigma .40...but I'm a sucker for airsoft, so thats where my money's been going lately

I occasionally do. When I don't, I have a knife right next to my bed. It's a BIG KNIFE

| @comrade LMAO, my grandmother is like that, too. Last year I was at her house and I was riding my bike, and she said "don't ride out of the drive way". She went back into the house, so I rode over to my grandad, who gave me $20 and sent me off to Sonic to get a burger. | |
