| Well, I ended up leaving about 0300 because my batt was dying and I was running out of water, but I still had a lot of fun. I'll just talk about the most important games. If you would like to see where we played, go to google maps and paste this.
496 Rio Communities Boulevard, Rio Communities, NM
First game, Slayer This was just one of our warm up games. We split the teams by having people with camo and people in all black on one team, and people in civvies on the other. The object of the game was to destroy the other team, and we were playing with one hit elimination.
when the game started, a guy on me team said "who here is accurate with a rifle?" and I raised my hand. He then handed me an L96 and told me to get to work. I grabbed a friend to be my spotter and we ran out to the parking lot in back of the shopping center where there was a grassy hill and then a ditch on the other side. It was nice and dark over there and the grass was tall. I set up with the sniper rifle and my friend called out targets. I only had four bbs in the magazine, so I had to make my shots count. I saw somebody on the OPFOR trying to sneak over to the grassy area where we were through the shadows, so I put the crosshairs on him and squeezed the trigger. Hit. He began looking around trying to figure out how he had gotten out, but didn't find out until I told him after the game. I then proceeded to hit three other guys that had some of my team pinned down behind a dumpster. When I ran out of bbs for the L96, I ran across the parking lot and put the L96 where it's owner could get it after the game and headed back around the building to the parking lot side, where half of my team was involved in a firefight with the some of the OPFOR. Longstory short, I got stitched right across my chest by a highly upgraded MP5A4.
Attack and Defend (My Team Attacking) The OPFOR was tasked with holding the center courtyard in the Plaza, which had a tree, walls on both sides with entryways, and pillars inside. My team had to take the center courtyard and wipe out the other team. My team started out on the south side and ran around the east side of the plaza, where there is a sidewalk and a bunch of columns that you can hide behind. They must have had nearly all of the OPFOR firing at them, because it was just a constant stream of AEG fire with the occasional pop of a gas pistol or SMG. I looked down that hallway and was greeted with just a wall of plastic coming my way. I decided to use that to my advantage. The OPFOR was worried that we'd attack them from that side and forgot all about their rear. I grabbed my friend Vicente and we ran around to the east side of the plaza, where we would have to cross the line of fire from the center courtyard. I peeked out, and lucky for us, they were all concentrated on the easter hallway! Vicente and I sprinted across to the other side of the plaza, the north side. All was clear over there. None of our guys had made it over there and the OPFOR didn't have any sentries that way. We circled around the plaza and moved up on the north east side via the columns until we were practically right up on the courtyard. Our guys saw us and began drawing heavier fire so we could get in to position. We moved up onto a corner, then gave a signal to the guys on the south side. We all moved into the central courtyard and ended up taking the position. We lost half of our guys during the initial phase of the assault, then lost two more as we were clearing the courtyard thanks to a sniper positioned in the tree. It was my favorite game.
Attack and Defend (My Team Defending) During this game, my team had to defend and the OPFOR had to assault us. My team set up, and we put a guy with a SAW up in the tree. Vicente and I covered the southwestern corner of the courtyard so the OPFOR couldn't attack us the way we attacked them. We had another kid with an M14 EBR cover us from a prone position while Vicente took a knee and I stood, so we had three shooters on one wall. We had guys covering every corner, but mostly our southern corners since the OPFOR would come from that direction anyways. The game started, and I told Vicente and M14 Kid to get back from the wall so if the OPFOR came punching down our side, they wouldn't see us and we could surprise them. After about 30 seconds, I peeked around the corner to check, and the OPFOR were only 20 feet away! I yelled an expletive and said told Vicente and M14 Kid to get their replicas online. We started trying to push the OPFOR back, but they must have hit us with at least ten guys on our side, and we had to pull back. M14 Kid got hit as were pulling back to the Western wall of the courtyard. Vicente and I got to the wall, and he took the south side and I took the north side. The OPFOR was right on our ass, and I didn't realize it until a red Tornado got lobbed over the wall and landed right by me. I yelled "OH F**K!", dove, grabbed it, and started to throw it back over the wall before it went off in my hand of course got me out. The game ended when the courtyard got overrun and the SAW gunner in the tree ran out of ammo. It was my second favorite game of the night.
Those were just my favorite games of the night. We mostly just played Slayer over and over again, haha. | |

| Haha, yeah, it would have been the badass move of the OP! I just looked at all my gear. I only used 2,000 bbs for the whole OP, but I broke one of my mags, I'm assuming from when I dove for the frag. Oh well, nothing I can't replace, eh? | |
