| Erm, guys, please do not talk about that on a public forum, especially for airsoft. The government already wants a reason to ban us, don't give them a reason to call us terrorists. | |

| Jarheads plan is a well thought out one but the field owner probly doesnt want you to be smashing through windows he put up and payed for....My plan is to use a sniper team to similtaniously(sp) tag the Guards out first and by that time Two entry teams will be ready to breach both doorways at the same time under cover of flash bangs...or use a flashbang in the hostage room and a Tornado or other grenade in the room without the hostage....anyway, both teams shoud be trained in this scenario and must flawlessly execute the clearing of the container saving the hostage....I know this whole plan relies on speed and accuracy along with everything working in perfect coordination....What ya think?
EDIT:VERY HARD,but NOT Impossible

Sorry jarhead, but it requires the planets to be lined up perfectly. The possibility of this happening correctly is almost nothing.

| Thread lock plz.
Its not possible in airsoft...plain and simple.
Maybe in "real life" you could pop CS gas inside or something...but of course we can't do that now can we. There is no solution...it's a dead scenario. Even in an actual live fire hostage situation like this, there are too many variables to take into account before acting. You don't know the individual's temperament, you don't know where they are inside the room, you don't know how they would respond to CS...for all you know they could just shoot the hostage if you attempt to pop gas.
The fact of the matter is, six armed men against an entry force trying to get in through a single entry point would be like like shooting fish in a barrel (a very small barrel).
Its just stupid.
Game over. | |

| Actualy in RL it is possible to do this...most American buildings are build out of wood, with a infrared scope (and yeah they do exist) you can aquire target and fire..granted it would have to be a fairly large caliber...say a .308 | |

But what happens when the first guy is dropped and theres still 5 now frantic/desperate other guys with guns in a room with hostages XD At that point I'd just be like "eff it", shoot the hostage, then shoot myself...cuz I aint going to jail for life.

| Who says theres only one sniper (Im pulling this from were the sun don't shine) but don't most swat units have 5 or so snipers?..atleast thats what the movies tell me...im no expert on what these guys use - Quote :
Why do you guys insist on thinking that if someone REALLY wanted to save the hostage in the AS scenario and this isn't their first time with this situation they could accomplish the mission if they practiced the entry and room clearing in sync together. It is possible Becouse the senond anyone pops thier head in that door do you think thier not going to shoot the hostage?..I would..win for us (since winning the game is determined by the hostage surviving) heck even before that happenes it would be so easy to take out any team that tries to get in. Actualy..i see a way to make this a fun scenerio with a possible outcome, have a "spy" in the opfors team that can work form the inside....now we have all kinds of fun things opening up.

| What I was saying is that when the navy seals fired, it sounded like one shot because of the precision timing. | |

| I like Zane's idea of the spy. Before the scenario begins, brief each of the "terrorists" separately with their attitude and motivation. Maybe one is nervous and wants to come home to their family, maybe another one is fearless and wants to kill as many SWAT as possible. One would be the inside man working for SWAT, and nobody on the terrorist team would know who it was.
Of course, this might be more manageable if there were 2 or 3 entry points.

| Well, here is what I would do. I would have two members of my team position themselves on each side of the hallway. They take out the Guards simutainiously, then have the rest of the team wait outside the doorway. When you are ready, you all rush in the room at the same time, spreading out along the wall and getting through the doorway as soon as possible. This could be even better if you added a bit of smoke in teh room, but could also cause confusion. | |
