| okay, apparently everytime I've been spotted while sniping, the guy who saw me said he only saw me because of my orange tip. I was wondering if it was legal to cover it up while playing or not and, if it is, what's the best way to do that? | |

| In CA I don't have any orange tips on my guns, but they are always in a gun bag! It's fine to have them off while playing, just not in public. | |

| Psh... I just put electrical tape over mine. I've never had somebody ask to see the orange on my gun. | |

| Orange tip required for shipping. Suggested when transporting the replica to/from field. | |

I own multiple flash hiders...one blaze orange for transport and one matte black for at the field. You can get them for as little at $5 at Airsoft GI. | |

| epic fail (I know breckton just lost the game ). okay, so I pretty much tore up the orange tip trying to get it off like the video said and when I did get it off, there was orange underneath it! I plan on getting the flash hider, but I need a temporary solution to the tip before thursday cause that's when I'll be playing next. | |

| I keep a roll of electrical tape on my rig at all times and a spare in my bag. It is definitely a good thing to have. Can't tell you how many times I've had to use it. | |

| So when the gun is pointing at you, you can't see the orange. Cause if he wraps the tape around the barrel it won't cover the front. | |

| Wrap it around the front end of the barrel with about half the piece of tape hanging over the edge, then fold it down. | |

| Sharpie it. If you try to tape it, you run the risk of blocking your barrel or creating an obstruction in front of it, and then you're f**ked all because you didn't want Johnny MilSim to see the little tiny bit of orange on the front of your barrel. | |
