| Hi everyone. This is my first post so here it goes I'm looking to get into sniping, and have no idea which of the guns I like to get. I'm stuck between the JG Bar 10, JG SVD, and KJW MKII. Is the latter really as accurate and high powered as reviews say? Any opinion or input would be greatly appreciated.

| go for the BAR 10,
the JG SVD is complete crap. it barely resembles an SVD in the first place. and it is just an AK with a longer barrel. complete crap. don't bother with it. its lacks power and distance that a decent sniper rifle should have.
the KJ mkII is nice, but i wouldn't recommend it as a sniper rifle. i think it would nice to have for fun and giggles. but for serious sniping etc. i wouldn't use it. also there will be fps variations since it is a gas rifle.

| Ok. I was thinking about the KJ for the length and the fact that its semi auto, but thank you for the info. How much would it go down over about 16 shots? Do you know any other good semi autos that are under $200?
Thank you, MKH | |

| Oh im sorry the KJ is actually a decent rifle. and i was being a tard and thinking of C02, and a different rifle for some reason.
but to answer your question, there aren't many semi-auto sniper rifles out on the market for under $200, any decent ones to say (except that KJ you mentioned)

| Why not use a Echo 1 M14 and purchase a rail and scope...the gun alone is 145 on evike and is a superb DMR. | |

| Well, the 14 is an AEG, so it's going to have a little noise to it. | |

| Exactly what I was thinking. Snipers aren't usually looking for the gun that says, "Here I am! Over here! The one making all the noise!" | |

| Yeah. I suggest a spring replica over a gas replica or AEG. Unless it's real quiet and you're fairly close, you aren't going to be hearing a spring replica. | |

| AEG's are hard to here over a distance and if you stay on semi you should have no problem.
But as stated before if you can get a JG Bar10 get it, of not the TSD M700 is completely VSR/Bar10 upgradeable and is only 70 dollars. That extra cash you have left over throw it into getting upgrades. It is spring but it will do the job is you stink to sniping.

| The KJ rifle is a pistol, if i remember correctly. It is basically what I am going to do to my glock 23 soon (put a stock on it ) | |

| Yes it is. You can get an even longer barrel than the carbine has on evike. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=25189 From what I've heard the stock version is accurate to 100-150ft depending on the pellet weight. I think it's what I'm going to get, and get an smg to carry as well. Anyone think that's a bad idea? | |
