Ya but you forget, I couldn't buy a gun or own one until im 18 with something like Britains system...

Age requirements aren't as important as a test of good sense and gun safety knowledge and letting the state know who owns realistic replicas.

britains system is you can have your parents buy it for you but it has to be at least 50% colored to show that it is not a firearm (i.e. the half green guns in scoutthedoggies videos)

also under britains system you can own a realistic airsoft replica so long as you belong to an airsoft club (if i am correct)

also in the u.s. you can't buy an airsoft gun under the age of 18 anyway. so really much doesn't change. (yes even at walmart they check to make sure you are 18 before buying the crappy sportline or crappy springer)
