| Title says it all, I am looking for weights that I can sew onto the inside of my new "Metal Gear Ciras" vest. I am looking for small one pound weights either square or circular. preferably low cost. must be flat to not interfere with the usage of the vest. I am looking for 16 of these one pound weights so I can weight down the new CIRAS replica.
Due to my fields ROE I am allowed to weight a replica armor plated vest to 16 pounds in order to make it a "ballistic vest" in our fields terms.
The next BHC (Battle Honor Corps) Event is coming up on August 14th. So I would like to have the plates installed and ready to go by then. I do know that there are large plates for sale that are meant for plate carriers but I do not want those. I am looking for small metal plates/bars that can be easily sewn onto the vest.
Does anyone know where to find these? I have looked online and I have only found weights for weight training. | |

| I have some that are like 10 lbs and 1 inch thick. I'd need to find them and weigh them to be sure but, they have a hole in the center 1 to 2 inches around | |

| Thing is whitewolf, are they like the weights you would put on a bar to lift? I am not looking for those kind. I am just looking for small weighted plates able to be sewn separately into a vest with needle and thread. | |

| You're getting that $80 one from Evike right? Just so you know, the pouches are pre-attatched, not MOLLE... | |

| Sheet metal will be too light......you would need a bunch for 16lbs. | |

| Yeah I know that... Haha these are extremely hard to find and I believe I have come to a conclusion... Since I can not find any weights (unless one of you do) I am going to get some ballistic plates from my field owner and fill them with floor leveler and somehow attach it to the inside of my vest.
Good idea? Bad idea? | |
