| Does anybody have any tips on how to prevent this? I know it is mentioned on a few other topics, but I wanted a thread for JUST this subject, to really get the ball rolling and get some new ideas going. Just today, I fought so hard to get within 20 feet of M16-A3s L-96, almost had him pinned, AND he couldn't see me, and I had to surrender due to the fact that I literally couldn't see my hand infront of my face....I was not happy. I have heard of those G&G goggle fan, does anybody know if they actually work or how loud they are? Or any other strategys, techniques, or ideas you may have, throw me a bone here, post 'em up. Thanks everybody | |

| Fog tech is the best solute to use. It's prety much the only wipe/liquid that works from my experience.
You have to get matching goggles for that fans. The fans are deffinately the best solution to fogging, but their expensive.

| I wouldn't recommend safety glasses, theres too much that an go wrong with them.
You might have to choose between seeing and having a little fog in your goggles(hard I know).

| There are certian shatter ratings that comply with the ANSI rules. just im not to knowledgeable where to find their website or information
type in ANSI shatter ratings in google and try to find the organization's home site. And you can look up the pair you want to buy in their index.

| There is already a topic about this (although most of it isn't very helpful to be honest). https://airsoftforum.darkbb.com/clothing-gear-accessories-f4/goggles-t246.htm#5200I stick to thermal lenses AND goggle fans. Anti-fog spray/wipes are helpful, but only work for a certain amount of time and can be dangerous/annoying to reapply. Try looking at the G&G goggle fans. They're what I use with my goggles. Extremely quiet, inexpensive, and durable. Oh, and they work, of course. And this is all coming from a guy who sweats a lot during airsoft games. | |

Agreed. I'm working on it though. If people would use the "advanced search" option we could avoid these problems altogether. This is a problem that every forum deals with though - it's not just this one.

| Maybe if you didn't do such a good job at making the forum we wouldn't have as many users , Huck Huck Huck *cough* Suck up * cough* huck huck , I gotta get that cough fixed . LOL , anyway I agree that some of these problems could be prevented if only people would cooperate , and yes me included . | |

| The reason I made a new topic was because, Ilike ADMIN said, the other one wasn't very helpful, and pretty old. But I am very pleased with this thread, I have alot of options now and new things to try, thanks to all who replied. | |

sticks Ok i am a certified SSI Open Water Diver and the defogger for scuba is the only solution(besides better mask). Well there is another way to defog goggles that i used diving in Montego Bay it works quite well i think it was soap and water but it smells like snowcone syrup (lol im serious )

| Ok this is simple and does work take a piece of duck tape or gappers tape and place it right below your goggles or mask. Then fold it in on its self so u have about an 1/2 inch of the sticky side left and place that on your face.
if you did not get this place the tape so it prevents air from going straight into your goggles and lets the air cool down before it touches your goggles.
ill try to get a picture as soon as i fix my camera
