Don't open that GB unless you have a crappy one to practice on. The Flaming Hog's is a V.2 gearbox. First off you have to knock out the front pin to take off the upper receiver, barrel and ris system. Then punch out the back body pin (large pin closest to the butt stock) Right now there should be one last pin to push out, it is smaller than the other two pins. Leave that in for now. Look at the bottom of the pistol grip and you'll see two screws that keep the motor plate on, remove them, and then you should see the motor. Two wires, black and red, are connected to it, carefully detach those. DO NOT REMOVE THE MOTOR
FIRST
Make sure you know which way your motor is facing, because you will have to put it back in the same exact way or your gun will not fire.
There will probably be a small plus sign where the red connector used to be, use that as a reference.
Now you can remove your motor. It might be a little hard to do, so try applying a little leverage with a flat head screwdriver, not too much, you don\'t want to break it.
Now that your motor is out, look into the pistol grip, there should be two screws, make sure you put alot of pressure on these when unscrewing them or they WILL STRIP, which then makes your gun IMPOSSIBLE to fix if anything ever happens to them (I replaced mine with stronger screws after I stripped mine)
Once the pistol grip is unscrewed, you should be able to pull it off the lower receiver and the two black and red wires will go through there according holes in the grip.
Now, you need to remove the crane stock.
You know the little button that allows you to adjust where it is placed? Press that down as low as you can, and pull back, it should remove it from the buffer tube.
Once that is done look inside the tube, there should be a large phillips head screw inside it. Unscrew that and carefully take it off, (Your tamiya battery connector will be attached to two dean's connectors here, take them apart but do not lose them, they are very easy to be attached/taken apart.
Now that the buffer tube is off, you have to is knock out that last pin in the body. It is small, so don't lose it. Once you have it out, you also need to unscrew the magazine release. Very easy to do, just unscrew the phillips screw and pull the button and spring out of the one side, and the small bar on the other side will fall out.
NOW YOUR ARE DONE DISASSEMBLING YOUR RIFLE.
I have to leave right now, but I will be back tonight with information on how to take your GB apart.
Hope this helps!
