Would this be a good gun?

Sorry if I put this in the wrong place, I wasn't sure where to post this.
Anyway I want to get this gun for my birthday but I want to know if it is a good rifle. If you have/know anyone that has it please tell me what you think.

ARES is a very good company so yes
but use high quality bbs
WE, airsoft elite, G&G, matrix, etc. brand bbs

Indeed ARES is very good but I don't have any experience with this gun personally. It seems pretty darn nice though. Keep in mind that this rifle is VERY long and will be a bit heavier than you might be accustomed to.

Also, this gun is on "Special Order" for Evike so it's going to take long to arrive...And knowing Evike's reputation with out-of-state (CA) customers, it's going to take even longer. So I recommend ordering from somewhere else if anyone carries it.

EDIT: Also magazines might be hard to find IF, and I say again IF, you want to buy extras.

These mags should work but i am not 100% sure.

Don't be thrown off by the mags being for a FAL, the LIA1 SLR is an FN FAL.
