| So a buddy o' mine wants to get either a Echo 1 Red Star "Covert" or a CYMA "AK PMC"... and now that I see how kickass they are I'm totally gonna start saving for one. Tehe. So is the E1 really worth the extra $65? We're both going to eventually just get the CYMA unless someone can convince us that the Echo 1 is better... Right now I'm not finding much against the CYMA. Like the M14s from either company they seem identical for the most part. I believe the Echo 1's FPS is a little higher but honestly SO WHAT. Thank ye kindly | |

| Probably get better quality materials with the E1...but Idunno if it's worth $65 more.

| As durkee said its probably not worth another $65, the CYMA would be a good choice, I think it is one of the higher quality CYMA's out their (think about how high quality the cheap CYMAs are~~~)
so the CYMA would be a good deal IMO

| The Echo 1 is just a re-brand of the CYMA. Go for the CYMA.

| Woo. Thanks for la informaciĆ³n. In case you guys are wondering, I'm going with this style rather than the standard AK74 stock set up because the wire stock folds to the right side of the gun so you still fold it with a rail mounted on. Plus they're feckin' awesome | |

Not entirely. If I'm not mistaken, the gearbox is Dboys.

I would definetly go with the cyma... they're known for making great ak47's, echo 1 is still a good choice but I prefer CYMA.

| Guhhhh poop. ASGI raised the price of the CYMA to $245 so I'm just going to get whichever one is stock... Also looking at other AKs as well as G36s. | |
