| Okay, it seems the AS gods are against me enjoying myself at my next OP, which is this SATURDAY. Everything that can go wrong, now officially has. I was just nearly wetting my pants because of how beautifully my KWA M4 was TEARING apart a paper plate at 80 yards away, almost perfect accuracy, 380 FPS at 1200 RPM. Then, on the drop of a dime, it broke in my hands. Well, not neccesarily, here's what's happening: Gun still shoots perfectly fine, accuracy, ROF, power, but with every BB that is shot, a rather loud "cracking" sound can be heard from somewhere in the GB. Please help me. I have several ideas but I'm hoping someone here has a better one, or possibly a miracle fix, which I will trade for ten smileys similar to this one: But until then, I'll be | |

| How old is the gun? KWA has a 60 day (?) or 30 day (?) warranty on their guns.

| Cylinder or Piston issue? Maybe your Cylinder head is hitting something. | |

| I'm almost certain it's a Piston issue, but the cylinder is a possibility. Upon close inspectionn, I've concluded two things..... 1. this gun is far past its warrenty!!!! 2.Bevel gear, Motor Height, and all Hop-Up parts are in place/correct. the cracking is almost certainly coming from the Piston, whi I don't mind replacing with a real nice one. With all the upgrades I've been putting in this guy, I figured it was a matter of time before something broke....but how inconvenient of a time!!! I think I'm just going to do a whole GB overhaul...re-do all the internals to my liking | |

| Maybe your piston head is hitting something inside the cylinder... Hmm. This is a tough one. | |

| It sounds as if it's coming from the rear though...towards the back of the GB | |

| There is no telling until you can get the mechbox open. But it is too late for that now.
I can only say it Looks like this gun has a stripped piston, and possibly stripped at the piston if you've been running a battery you weren't supposed to use. | |
