That .970.......is beast.
The T3, you getting a sub-$900 quote for it? I was litterally two minutes from buying at T3 Hunter at a gun show in Nevada, but the guy was overcharging by like seventy bucks. Shame, it's a beautiful rifle. Oh well, I spent it on a S&W Sigma 9mil, few bricks of .45's and some airsoft junk...guy just had to be a greedy bastard about it.

http://www.bullocksguns.com/productDetail.asp?ID=24042 $689 for the synthetic stock, 30-06, stainless version. The guy said hes got the Super Varmint version in 30-06 for about $100 more so - it'll be less than $800. Pretty good price I'm thinking.
I'm still checking out shops in my area. I got family & crew by the place I linked though.
I'm up in the air about my next pistol: I already got a Glock G30 (.45acp) http://www.glock.com/english/index_pistols.htm with the night sights - and love it. I want to get a G29 (10mm) - because I like large holes & higher velocities, more energy delivered to the target, etc; http://greent.com/40Page/ammo/10/10mm-advoc.htm the bottom of this page compares my G30 to my MAY be next gun, the G29.
Then again, that G26 has been calling to me for years for some reason heh... Also, the new Glock's have changeable backstraps like other brands have had for quite a while. But the only other gun I have that uses 9mm ammo is my MP5, and I got nothing now that uses 10mm ammo, so...
How you liking that Sigma, and what year is it? Ever tried the Springfield XD(M)? I got a few buddies that love em, haven't tried one myself.

You like those baby Glocks huh? They're too small for my comfort. I do like the G19 size though, I have a G32 "C" airsoft replica in OD. I've yet to lay hands on any of their full size line though.

I do like the baby Glocks, my pinkies bend in way that I can get a full grip on a sub-compact. Plus, I use then for carry so the smaller the better. I have 2 airsoft baby Glock's as well, one has a selector switch on the top left of the slide for full/semi. Very cool. Think it's HFC? I got it in Hong Kong when I walked into the "UN-Company" store, the chain gun in the window drew my attention! I also bought a airsoft version of my MP5 there and had then do some work on it (I went harder hitting, slower ROF route), think they called it Level 3. The other baby glock's a cheaper version, from when I was in Thailand.

That kind of thing happens a lot. For example, Remington 700s were all recalled a month or so ago. They just have to do that if someone \"Watch your language\" with the gun, and makes it shoot somebody "accidentally"

Yes, if there is a way for someone to bugger something, or someone (or themselves) up - they will find a way.
Like the lady that burned herself, & won a lawsuit from McDonalds over coffee. She was an idiot, but now shes a rich idiot.
"Natural selection" has been supplemented by rules & laws of society, which when you live in a non-3rd world, means you can be an idiot, and prosper.
Both guns have amazingly great records/stats/value.
Picked the Tikka T3 Super Varmint version, only problem is - it's hunting season & everyone seems to be sold out, or charging higher prices now.

The Sigma is great, I got it right after the price of 45's went up as a way to be able to afford shooting. haven't shot mah Kimber in months. Im planning on either getting an XD or throwing some money into a SKS. I visited The Gun Store earlier today in Vegas and shot their MP5 on full auto....worst $50 ive ever spent. got up to the line only to learn my $50 got me just 6 rounds. total bullshit.

'tis true.
Stayed at Circus Circus. No towels in my room and they wanted to change me $15 when I called to have them send my frickin towels up. Valet took 20 minutes and I suspect they made a McDonald's run in it (judging by the 2 half-eaten Big Mac's in the back...). Room smelled like smoke and mold. Tried to charge me because they said I was smoking in a non-smoking room. Called my parents back home cuz they found out I'm only 16. Remote did not work. Then on the second night, the TV stopped working. Then the internet went out midway through an online test for Biology. Sound system at the place we performed at sucked (inside Circus Circus). Millions of little brats running around the casino without parents.
So yes..."great" weekend in Vegas as usual. Place is so sleazy. I'm sure it was great at some point in history, but it's a run down piece of \"Watch your language\" now.
Anyway. Thought I would turn my weekend around and enjoy myself...so I went to The Gun Store. Ended up being proverbially shot in the eye repeatedly until I bled out. I hereby pronounce this weekend...dead.
So my plan is to hit up a few shows back in LA and Hollywood this week...blaze with some friends...and not fail my American Sign Language exam.

\"Watch your language\" you should have done that in Vegas, you'd blend in with the locals quite well.

$50 for 6 rounds of 9MM through a MP5? Wow, what a rip off!!! You can rent mine for half price, hows that I'll even give you 10 rounds. HAHA.
SKS: I remember when you could pick them up for $60, heh. Should have. But hind sights always 20/20.
Speaking of Vegas - Look up a guy called Billy Keck. That was a guy I used to work & hang out with, doing... things in the military. Type in his name & "Las Vegas". Wow huh?
Hope hes OK. His lawyer got hold of me, but wont tell me much ;/
Yes Vegas is in business, for business. I had a house there. Rented it out, didn't want to live there. I did stay at the Circus Circus (although this was about 15 years ago) for a weekend and it was great. I ate dinner while watching King Aurthur thing & eating big bird legs & pounding on the table.
Vegas is a great place to FAIL & be flushed down the system, or the very rare few - make it big.
One more thing. How do I get ranked here? It's demeaning being a private again. ;/ Heh

Psh, everyone in Vegas does club drugs and listens to electronica, Rihannana, and eats bananana...not really my definition of a good time. The metro cops there are assholes as well...but I guess that's what happens when you spend your day dealing with drunk d-bags.

Yikes! That's intense stuff. Gotta wonder what was going through his mind (and blood stream?).

Strangely it's earned through number of posts. Don't understand why, as it only encourages 'rank posting'...but that's just the way things are I guess. Nobody really pays attention to the rank. If anything, it just broadcasts our no-life-ness. (those of us who half nothing better to do but post 4000+ times in an airsoft forum) We toyed with the idea of making it a "karma" system instead...but without an active admin, we haven't been able to get anything changed around here. Those of us who remain are essentially squatters. Anarchy at it's finest.
Okay so we still have moderators...but "anarchy" just sounds cool.

Ahhhh OK. SO that's how I get ranked. Well, guess I'll stay a peon then, heh!
Spl. Durkee I think DrummerBoyz95 took personal offense to your comment on posting=rank, he/she wants to shut this down (He/she's a General Hint Hint).
And Billy... well yah. Bad day, that's for sure. He even killed their dog, not his intended target I'm sure. But when your shooting through a hole in the door you just made with a chainsaw - aiming is pretty much a no-go. He was never great at hiding emotions as I recall. Like love - that was his WIFE that was at another guys house, and Pregnant with some Other guys baby! If you've ever been married or in a real long term relationship - one where YOUR wife did that, you may understand his outrage a bit better. Not condoning it, just saying...

No... I didn't... What... How did you... What? No. He/she?
I just meant we're talking about open murder and assault cases (which even the jury can't do), and then go talking about make believe rank. No need to keep doing that. At least keep it on the topic of ACR recall, if there's anything even interesting about that at all.

DrummerBoyz95: The jury can't talk about it because they ARE the jury, whoever they are. But WE can. That's part of what makes the USA great. And yes, it is definitely murder hes up for, death penalty they are seeking. Life in prison best case scenario for him. And since I was contacted by his lawyer for info to possibly help his case (which is looking not to good), that kinda puts me in a special place. Not restricted from saying anything, & knowing the guy.
Sorry if got off topic of the original post I made - but, that's why I posted this here in the "OFF TOPIC - LOUNGE" I thought that's where we could go over items such as this.
And yes, I thought if any of you had any real steel guns (like perhaps a Magpul Masada / Remington-Bushmaster ACR) like I do, then this may be of interest to you. You may have one! And since I'm concerned about you all and safety I posted this info. Which from your comment DrummerBoyz95, you may think there is nothing important/interesting about. If that is that case - then I suggest you peruse some other posts.
Even if you (or no one else) do not have a real steel version, lots of companies are making a lot of money off Airsoft versions of these guns, so obviously the interest is high in this model.
Feel free to comment, ask questions, or whatever.
Just keep our mantra of "No Hating, No Politics, Strictly Airsoft" in mind.
Unless your in the "OFF TOPIC - LOUNGE"... then you can go off topic!
Then it's fair game!

Kitty cat. Cuz it's soft and cuddly.
So back to the Masada...
Found a video of the problem: Malfunction 22 seconds in.
Do they know exactly what's causing the problem? Seems like it would just be a batch of the product that would have the problem rather than the entire Masada line. My Kimber actually did the same thing when I had the .22 conversion kit in it. Every 40-60 rounds it would either stovepipe or have a 2-round seizure. Could the Masada deal just be an ammo problem?

Yes, this is the Off Topic Lounge. You can read.
That just means if we have anything "off topic" to post on then we can post it here. Doesn't mean that every thread is allowed to go off topic.
If I wanted to talk about baseball or Amsterdam or breakfast cereals I'd have to make another thread, to comply with the [server rules], which maybe you should read. Specifically #3. And #6 unless you want to consider murder as legal.
To reiterate, talk about the ACR recall if you must talk about something.
Do you own an ACR? How do you like it if you have one
