kalash ak47 parts

so i have a kalash ak47 with a foldable stock, i tripped and broke the lock on the stock that holds it in place. where can i find (or order) a new peice?

thats not it. i need a little part not the entire stock. its just a little squaresish peice that hold the stock in place. i have the stock.

Odd parts like that are gonna be hard to find by themselves on airsoft stores. Check forums with active marketplaces, or boneyard guns.

So he's incapable of looking back? Maybe he was just providing a picture like was asked, because he doesn't want to have to go buy a junkyard gun. I can't blame him. If that happened to my gun I'm going to do all I can to fix it with the least amount of $$$ possible. Now, junkyard gun is a good idea but there might be others that we haven't talked about yet because we just started giving suggestions.

I think what Drummer was saying is that your not going to be able to buy the part alone on the market, which is true. He was suggesting places where he could possibly get a replacement. So, no need to yell at him, he's just trying to help. pujerboy may have misread or not read drummers first post at all. There's no need to yell at another member for helping.

Thats probably true but what I would do is take it to the closest airsoft store (like a real store not just some outdoor sports store) and ask the people there if they can do anything for you. I've never done this with airsoft but I've done it with computers and other electronics and alot of times they can get the part for you for a smaller price or sometimes even free.

Anyway, first of all the gun in question is an AK-74, not 47 as advertised. So knowing that outright would have saved some thread space as well.

Without getting a parts gun or a new body, it's going to be a difficult part to replace. And there's no Airsoft Home Depot that has bins full of a billion different random parts. So I can't help you any further and won't be posting in this thread hereafter.

No, I know there's no "Airsoft Home Depot" but there are warehouses and junkyard guns are in warehouses. I would go talk to somebody and see if he can hook you up. Chances are he won't do it but its worth a shot.

i took a closer look at the gun and noticed that the sides were riveted on so im gonna have to weld the stock onto the gun. thanks for the input!
