Ooooh man. Oh man. ALWAYS had an eye on a Tanaka Kar. Just saying, if you feel like you don't use it that much, someday dowen the road, and wish to turn it into some other AS equipment, car $$, etc.... you know where to go I'd pay a pretty penny too. (Meaning a lot LOL)

the tm mk 23 has a springer pistol feel to it which i don't like that much.... the slide action is not as smooth as say my darkhawk (it is a plastic slide as well which TM is notorious for, and makes it more gas efficient)

My my, what large hair you have LOL
If it were my choice (it is) then I would keep the Kar98 as a collector's item and restore it, and sell the Mk23 for what it's worth.

I am in fact thinking of selling the mk 23 but i heard they are fairly rare, so i might keep it. or sell it depending.

I am too! bolt action is smooth! I love it Darn good deal if i do say so myself. Im gonna use in for a sniper role. (i have never done one) so i might as well try it that way
turns out the mk 23 is nbb and is shooting way hot at 450ish.... i shot at a few boxes with it, it basically went right through it. So i will be selling it.

No... the bolt loads the BB. Bolt action rifles don't have a gas system so they're not semi-automatic. Hence the handled bolt....lulz
CONTROVERSIAL SS SNIPER LOADOUT FTW

NN2H, you should throw together a French Resistance loadout. Skip to 3:50 in the video

its a bolt action gas sniper, you have to pull the bolt back in order for the firing pin to set.

so it's just gas powered but not semi-auto? pointless.......a spring is much more reliable (and easier to maintain) than gas. still looks pretty beast though.

all the spring kar98's have shells and not a magazine, so i have an advantage over them, also gas is more accurate and cooler
thats actually what i was thinking of doing when i first got the kar98, i remember seeing that vid and wanted to do a french resistance.

Ya lets get down the facts here. That's the reason to get a gas gun. They're just \"Watch your language\" cool.
