| Yeah, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt. Although, you might not get a very desirable sound.
What equipment are you packin' specifically?

| @ drummer I believe it is usually used with an acoustic that has pickups... I think
@ATGNWT I have a Silvertone something or other and I'm receiving a Behringer AT108 amp in a few days... So is there anything I could do about sound, fine tune amp settings etc.

| Oh, well being a Behringer, it should do just fine. German-made amps like Behringer are renowned for their acoustic amps. The difference is actually in the tubes, which emphasizes the sound of acoustic instruments. But being German-made, it shares about 78-82% commonality with American amps, especially the Marshall brand. Soooo, you should get a sound more geared toward 1960s-1970s style, such as Led Zeppelin's early stuff. Unless your more geared toward hardcore punk and metal sounds, then you should sound pretty sharp. If this is the case, then I suggest a different amp OR a POD multi-effects processor.

| Honestly, I suggest getting a different amp anyways. If it has already been bought, then ask for the receipt and return it for a Line 6 or Peavy amp. But if that is not possible, then you'll do just fine with the Behringer. | |

| I own a Les Paul Epiphone, so I screw around with amps a lot. Yeah, it will work, but because the amp's made for acoustic, your not going to get that electric "rock" sound out of it. It'll just sound like, well, an amplified acoustic guitar. | |
