| They're alright, IMO an over glorified chi-com. Its also harder to attach other pouches to it (as securely as MOLLE anyways). The construction is as nice as every other Pantac rig however. fells good. But to have a good kit he would need some form of armor carrier, whether it be a PACA or other form of concealable/PBA, or it be a MOLLE PC. The state department requires all personal security/operational security members to wear armor of some sort.

For the sidearm I would run with a .45 replica. There seems to be an abundance of 45 in conflict zones due to US and other NATO surplus. Plus allot of guys would rather carry the larger caliber for the stopping power than not.
Just some food for thought.
sticks Ya I took a look at the Flyye FAPC and MBSS at the oc gun show, I didn't like the collar cut...the way the top of it is rounded. Just really uncomfortable to me. With the one I linked, I like how the molle is only in isolated spots so you don't have all that webbing to get sh1t hung up on. I'll definitely think about the 45's then. Maybe a new 1911 is in order. - white wolf wrote:
- Why not a pantac AK rig?
I think ASGI carrys em Cuz I absolutely love the way that one looks. I'm going to get it regardless of whether it fits AK mags...I can always get AK pouches. I'd just keep one M4 pouch so I have extra AR's for my teammates since I'm the only one currently running an AK. Cuz I'm a nice guy like that - - - - - Off topic question...but are contractors allowed hollow point and frangible ammo? The military isn't aloud...but are PMC's rounds not restricted?

It is "customary international law" not to use hollow-points, so I would assume it applies to contractors as well seeing as they aren't from Mars. According to this booklet it is permitted in situations such as hostage rescue and aircraft security.

Kinda makes you wonder though...since jacketed ammo just puts holes into you so you can slowly bleed out...a hollow point or frange would be alot more humane in a way.

Do it I love Cyma's with a burning passion. My first real AEG was a sturdy little Cyma AK...thing was beast Even if it does crap out, it still leaves you with a great base to upgrade and pimp-slap

| Did a bit more research on the replica and decided I was gunna get this one instead: http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=29566This one has the newer Cyma gearbox...the folding stock is much more durable...and the rail system adds resale value. Probably won't put anything on it, though. $20 more is fine by me if I'm getting a product that has sturdier externals. Gunna pick up a 5 pack of MAG magazines while I'm at it. | |

Yeah It's a bit beefy. I do like the stock 10x more though. Will probably just put rail covers over the RIS. Anyone have any tips for slings? 1 or 2 point? Low price! I'm at $204 for my order and just want a cheap sling to hold me over until I get paid.

| i had that AK, and i loved it, the stock tends to get wobbly often, so you will need to tighten it every once in a while. if you ditch the waffle mags it looks darn sexy but the waffle mags are contractor style. a 2 point sling would be better, it is fairly long. | |

Yeah I'll probably do them over lightly with a tan paint...just to add a bit of texture and dirty look...then throw some electrical tape on for grip

I'm trying to decide on whether I want to get the Matrix or Bravo. The bravo is out of my intended budget...so...it would leave me without money for other things I had planned. Matrix/Bravo/Socom are just Echo-1, aren't they? Matrix is just Evike's rebrand for D-Boys, E1, etc...the Chinese guns. Oooooohhhhhh I get it. The Matrix and Bravo are the same gun...but the Bravo comes with the extended barrel separately so you can swap em out. Does that Holy Cow special thing for 2 free magazines still apply?
