Smoke Grenades?

Do you guys use them? Why or why not?

I don't. The only use for the ones that you can get for airsoft would just be for distractions, they could not really mask your movement. I DO however use a Thunder-B Sound grenade, which is even more effective for distraction.

I agree with sno about the Thunder-B, I used one large smoke during OKIV and...wasn\'t really worth it to be honest,

I would venture to guess that smoke particulates are largely opaque...so they would reflect IR extremely well, effectively whitewashing the view out of any IR night vision device.

Or do what my friend did and shoot a grenade through the smoke he got 4 kills anyhoo use the pull pin smokes I caught the last field on fire even though im in VA were kinda in a drought

IR can see through smoke but through NVGs smoke would still be effective. IR reads heat signatures while nightvision takes available light (moon, stars) and intensifies it.

The shell breaks, but the actual mechanism is reused with another shell every use.
