| Evening everyone I'm new to this forum so forvige me if this question has been asked before. How can i carry extra BBs. i normally carry a 2000 round container with the nozzle thing so i can fill up my speedloaders. but, the container being made from plastic makes lots of sound, and always gives away my position. One guy i know uses a cut off BDU pant leg and kinda stapled the plastic pouring nozzle thing on it, and the other end is too hard to describe. Do u think this would work well for me? how can i keep the easy filling feature but silence it? thanks greatly, Russ | |

| The cloth pouch you mentioned is a good idea. I have several friends who go with that method and it works well for them. You could also try out one of these: http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/product.asp?page=product&id=EXTBBHOLDTOPI've never actually used one, so I can't vouch for their effectiveness, but it's a good idea, anyway. Then finally you could take the cheap, easy route I often do which is using the normal 500-1000 round BB containers, sticking a plastic bag down into it and make sure the bag is expanded as much as possible in the inside, close/twist the lid tightly, and then cut off the excess bag hanging outside the container. Then open the container, fill the bag/container with BBs, and you're good to go. The internal bag does a surprisingly good job at quieting the rattle of the BBs. I wish I had a pic to better illustrate this, but I hope you get what I'm saying from the description anyway. | |

| Hi Russ,
If you are playing Hi-Cap magazine games, they are going to rattle, no matter how much you wind them, how full you make them, after the first few meters of running the BB´s will settle and start to ralltel around in the mags. You could switch to MID/Low cap mags, and carry your extra ammo in a cloth or Plastic sack, other than that there are very few options.

| The noise generated by BBs in a bottle etc is a dead give-away.
Being a sniper whom works close to the enemy, this is a problem I solved by using the ideas already mentioned above. Firstly I now only use midcaps, so no loose BBs rattling around like in a HiCap mag. I use small speed loaders for reloading my MidCap mags, the capacity of the speedloader is the same as my mags by luck, so that my speed loaders are either full or empty, either way silent. If the capacity were larger I would pad the speedloader out until its capacity matched that of my mags. I also have cut the top off a bottle and stuck a cloth bag to the bottom to carry spare ammo around, cheap cheerful and works.

| I just stuff my 2000 round bb containers , I caryy about three or four , and my speedloader but surprisingly , I don't have this problem anymore , however , when I first started playing airsoft I did . This may be due to being less mobil than I was . I also walk slower and with mre stealth as well . But my friend has this exact problem , which makes it my problem bc hes the spotter , and he uses the containers and lines them with cotton , toliet paper , news papers , printer paper , or paper towels , extetra , the list can go on and on . | |

| M16-A3 has a really nice soulution to solve this problem..... 1. saw bottle in half. 2. place cotton/kleenex/toilet paper/foam (Not suggestable) around the edge. 3. heres the smart part- he uses black ELECTRIC TAPE to hold it in. he wraps it up until the inside of the bottle is completely smooth and black, no cloth showing. 4. use electric tape to hold the bottle together.
It works incredibly well, and looks great. Only he took his creativity to the next level, and started doing this with real ammo crates from WW2 he bouth from our locale Military Surplus shop. Its really cool.

| I just use a plastic bag,
All you have to do is take all the air out of it and then just roll it up. Bam no rattle. Also I find it alot easier to reload my speedloaders in, just stick the speed loader in the bag and scoop the BB's into the top.

| I personally use about 5-8 midcap mags, there is no need for me to carry any loose BBs. I have carried some in a rolled up bag, stuffed into my buttpack along with a loader. Just in case I need to reload a mag during a longer game. | |

| What I always do is just carry about 10 extra clips with me and head back to base if I use em up. (I've never used 300 rounds in one match). If you can't afford 10 extra clips, and I don't blame you, I would just carry they BBs in a plastic case stuffed with cotton so the BBs can't rattle. | |

| or you cut the top off the dump and superglue a fabric bag around it. it should hold twice as much and not rattle when compressed. | |

| ithink this is a very good question and i see a LOT of great ideas, and even i have thought about this until i came up with a solution that works for me . i just put mine in a ziplok bag and stow it in my buttpack and carry a speed loader ,and just refill when i get some down time | |

| What I do is I am getting a 3000 rnd drum mag since I will be support and I also bought 10 110 rnd mags so that way I could use them if I ran out of bb's for the drum or I wanted to just use them instead of the drum. I don't plan on useing 3000 bb's but it is better to be prepaired. | |

| Their are certain mags you can always take apart and line the insides with cloth...I did that for my A&K box mag for my M4 before i came a spotter. | |

| Or you could always get midcaps that way they don't rattle but you will have less rounds and need to get more mags. | |

| I've worked for hours moving at just the right speed and right motion so they don't shift. It took awhile but I eventually got down. | |

| put a wad of paper or something like that in there so the BBs have no room to shift. | |

| Another one for mid-caps I have 7 midcaps and a high cap just in case. What kind of a gun do you have? I think OE Tech makes some vests that cost around $30-$50. And if you don't like any of those vests you could always think about a tactical thigh rig. That way you can get some extra mags so you don't have to carry around that annoying bottle. Also if you get the thigh rig you can get any MOLLE pouch that you want or need. | |
