| Anybody else seen the movie Shooter? I just saw it last night with my mom. Yes, I said it with my mom! She said it would be fun. Just trying to warn some people this movie is R rated and not suitable for kids who are easily frightened, upset, or hate blood. I would recommend seeing this movie. It's about a sniper being double crossed and ultimately well... I can't tell you. | |

| Lone Wolf: The water bottle thing actually works, the trick is to tape the inside with packing or masking tape, and make vents that point backwards. It also helps if you use foam. I don't recommend you do this, mainly because its illegal.
The movie I thought was pretty good for a hollywood sniper movie. The zooms were way off most of the time but thats because everyone would be like "what just exploded?". The whole thing about very few people making a mile shot was off too. Just search some civi sniping forums and you will find alot of range reports of people shooting in the 1700M area. besides the few inaccuracies I thought it was a very good movie. Definitely worth a sequel where he tries to hunt down the other people at the "table".

| Yeah I saw a part of it at school on my buddies Ipod then bought it for my own and while it is a great movie , it zooms more in on explosion , and blood . Not that those are bad but it is also inaccurate . The movie is great , but for instance , how did they get to the artic , how did Bob Lee Swagger buy a gun , and above all whenever he held on to the barge's tow rope , the current would have sucked him under before he could of even gotten close enough to grab on . But thats Hollywood for you and other than that , it was a great , and just all around movie . | |

| yes i seen this movie shortly after it came out and i think that it is a good movie. if you watch the special features you will see that they actually went to sniper school to see if they were doing everything accurately. and they said that everything that they do in the movie can actually happen like the water bottle silencer. | |

They contracted a retired Marine sniper that took them to a private range. Also I can't quote it but A_S asked how he got the guns..... If I remember correctly a background check and the test are not needed if you are a federal agent or in current service with the armed forces. So by reading between the lined I'm assuming that agent whats his face just flashed his fancy smancy ID and entered his federal ID. also they didnt go to the Artic, that was a mountain range in northwestern Montana. sticks | |
